This is Jupiter, slightly above the Moon, and to the right..
I left the camera unattended.. Videoing on a tripod. There is footage containing the moon, then zooming in on Jupiter, for about 3-4 mins, then I return to the camera, and pan back out to the moon and Jupiter in the distance…
I have enlarged the Jupiter portion of the video, onto a 60 inch LCD screen , for closer inspection… This is a practice I utilize often, to gain closer inspection of videos.
There are no other anomalies within the video, all other areas of the footage appear to be the same …
Just this bulging, popping and shape changing of Jupiter…
I film Jupiter often, using the same equipment, I have never, ever sighted somethings as bizarre as this before..
If you have stellarium software , you can easily find the match for that evening, With Auckland / New Zealand ,as the destination, at 10pm…
Jupiter almost appears to be some random engineering project from the nightmare MOVIE , INCEPTON ! … It’s as if the engineers of the dimension, have fu **d up… it appears that it is altered, when no one is watching..
I had set the camera up on a tripod, and left it to run on its own.
And again… The recent Movie “Divergent.”.. Uses “Dream Scapes” and Serum to bring to life a reality that in fact doesn’t exist … Interesting.
What do you think is going on here???

Its an illusion. The light bulb behind you is reflecting off the glass window. Add some lens magnification and a clown in the background manipulating the light, you too can recreate this.
Don't remember if I saw this before- jupiter is no planet- at least not that thing in the sky we are told is jupiter. I watched it depart on early morning after staring at it for 5 minutes- it just left its position and headed north-east.
Nibiru system is rather close and contains multiple large objects. Check Igor Kostelac channel and Planet x and Nibiru System channel. We are not alone. I have seen the same type of things with the moon since 2008. What made me start to look and suspect…
Just came across your clip. It's weird because I have seen similar situation in Las Vegas. If this was due to atmosphere then wouldn't other objects or planets in the sky be doing the same thing? This is really interesting. Thanks for sharing.
The cause is classic atmospheric distortion. Happens severely like this a lot when viewing/filming near the horizon. Nothing to see here that I haven't seen happen to Jupiter, Mars, Venus, and the moon on many occasions.

I can assume is was a cold night, by the echo from the background the camera was on a closed room . Turning that water tap, the air becomes moist and creates a fine layer of condensed water on the camera lens/ window.
P.S. Bad idea to film the stars in a steamy room 😛

This is simply (earthly) atmospheric distortion — turbulent air in a thermal gradient.
Yet, from this example of a very common and well-understood kind of occurrence, many of you are leaping to absolutely insane pseudo-scientific "conclusions".
If you are drawn to reading or writing such flights of fancy, please stick to fiction.

If its Jupiter which I believe it is its a very interesting capture.Could be atmospheric refraction or a myriad of other video anomolies,magnetic disturbance or a much brighter object passing either in front of or behind said object for a brief period of time. Nevertheless its intriguing.
Sub atomic particles not behaving as expected ie being in 2 locations at once etc. when not being observed and totally rationally and as expected when they are.
Strange, but without more instrumentation (no way shape or form mocking your Canon, which looks incredible) and some data, there is no way to conclusively say what it was. I thought it was your camera compensating the distance of the light… but alas, I am no scientist and my opinion is merely that; an opinion.

nothing strange or weird happening on Jupiter, ever heard about refraction and atmospheric distortion, cloud cover, fog or in your case swamp gas, whats the alert about, sensationalizing is really lame, welcome to youtube people, another one unable grasp astronomy and the obvious optical illusions.

back in November, my husband and I were out on the back deck, and Jupiter "jiggled" lol not sure how else to explain it! It moved to the left, then back to the right.. a few times…! then stabilized… pretty strange, I wish I had recorded it!

There is nothing strange or weird happening on Jupiter. All we are seeing turbulence in Earth's atmosphere, causing Jupiter's image to appear to bubble around. This is perfectly normal when Jupiter (or any other object) is close to the horizon:

Hi cdbfort — I'm an amateur astronomer who has observed Jupiter many times through many telescopes over the past 45 years. What you're seeing is the effect of turbulence in the earth's atmosphere, which causes this kind of "wiggly, wobbly" appearance. It's familiar to all astronomers (amateur and professional alike). The case you're showing is pronounced, but certainly not unprecedented. It's more pronounced when looking at very small objects (like Jupiter) and when the objects are low in the sky (as was the case in Auckland on that evening) and when the weather is warm (which was also the case, according to weather reports). Turbulence causes the atmosphere's density to change quickly on very small scales, which creates an optical effect not unlike looking at something in water when the surface is very wavy and ripply. Hope this clears up the mystery for you.
