Max Tegmark (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, USA) about “Why quantum observers find lower entropy after observation and in our early universe?” at the Emergent Quantum Mechanics 2017 (EmQM17) Symposium sponsored by the Fetzer Franklin Fund at the University of London (UK).
EmQM17 was the 4th International Symposium about Quantum Mechanics based on a “Deeper Level Theory”.

Observation is an irreversible process. Not sure what Tegmark is going on about here. He sounds genuinely uninformed about the facts. All he really would have to do is to go into the CERN data acquisition areas and rooms and he would find a large number of steel cabinets packed with electronics that generate enormous amounts of heat that needs to be cooled by large AC units. That is what "measurement" looks like. It generates tons of entropy.
He gave carroll a solid 🙌🏻
I love this guy
