It's crazy. I'm learning english and russian in one!
я У тебя хоть как выиграю
Молодец well done أحسنت
Почему он говорит ФедОр?
I did not know that. thanks a lot.
Превосходный урок, спасибо!
The most beautiful Online Russian instructor.
Очень интересно! Не забудь выражение "хоть куда"! У него совсем другое значение 🙂 Keep up the great work
хоть как-как-нибудь / somehow
I wouldnt recommend using хоть как. This is not goоd Russian
Sounds very unnatural to me. Хоть как-нибудь is the only acceptable way of using it.
Hey, could you make a video about the differences of "учить", "учиться", "заниматься" and "изучать"? I'm really confused on these verbs
Can i say : «Ну ну ну..!» (Well well well..) ???
????
Lovely😉
Хоть как , это значит тяп – ляп. Редко встречается это самое хоть как. Так обычно говорят лентяи или недалёкие люди. Лучше сказать : …я у тебя выиграю в любом случае. Ну и так далее….☝️🐈👍
"я тебя хоть как выиграю"… what is it wild argo :> "я тебя выиграю" wtf :>>
Hi there!
Thank you for your video, dear Fedor Shirin! You've obviously mastered the English language amazingly! 😉
Nonetheless, I wouldn't say that your teaching course is flawless so to say…
For example, any native Russian speaker wouldn't say as you put it: "Я тебя выиграю." – There must be: "Я У тебя выиграю." – using the Russian preposition 'у', i.e. 'to win against smb' (though the Russian preposition 'у' rather corresponds to the English preposition 'from' in this case…)
Secondly, even 'я У тебя хоть как выиграю' occurs very rarely! Actually, I can`t recall to have heard this in Russia at all… As a character in a famous Russian comedy movie once said: "May be high in the mountains, but not in our region…" 😉 – So, indeed "я у тебя выиграю в любом случае" is an impeccable literary way to express the thought!
But! But if we turn to the Russian colloquial speech, you can often hear the following version: "я у тебя выиграю ПО-ЛЮБОМУ". This formula has been actively used for approximately 30 years – starting in the late Perestroika period…
Thank you.
Я учусь хоть как русский язык! 😃
Meaning of ХОТЬ КАК in Russian Language
Transcript
Hello my friends, how are you? My name is Fedor
and today you will learn how to use the word ХОТЬ {khot} with a particle next to it
before last week we covered ХОТЬ as a whole and different things that ХОТЬ can be built into, but today we will take a specific case of ХОТЬ because it
has additional meanings on top of the ones that we have covered in the
last video: What Does ХОТЬ Mean in Russian.
Please go and watch it because you will misunderstand some things here if you
don't have the prior knowledge of that video. So ХОТЬ КАК
mean the main meaning of it is anyhow or in any manner.
So for example I can say:-
“It doesn’t matter, do however you want to do it “
Неважно , делай хоть как.
Nevazhno , delay khot' kak.
Literally: It doesn’t matter how you do it.
For example : my friend is asking me hey how do you
want this this steak to be done -well
done, medium ,or rare ? I can say: it doesn't
matter do as you please do it however you like to do it
Неважно , делай хоть как.
Nevazhno , delay khot' kak.
Second meaning of “хоть как” is regardless or in
any situation. So for example, you are a great chess player and and you
beat somebody easily; let's say it's your friends and you beat them very
easily and they tell you :”Hey I can beat you. I'm gonna beat you next time.
And I reply: you're not gonna beat me because I just beat you so easily.
Then he says : “Well I can beat you if you're blindfolded and
you can say :
“I will beat you regardless”
“Я тебя хоть как выиграю”
YA tebya khot' kak vyigrayu
I'll beat you in any situation; it does not matter what kind of situation you put me into. I'm gonna beat you regardless.
So first in this case хоть как means regardless .
I will beat you regardless of whatever you say, of whatever day it is, I'll beat
you because I'm that much better than you.
The last one is we're adding another particle to this phrase
And one is going to be хоть как- нибудь { khot' kak- nibud' } and
this one means do it somehow already .
It’s time for you to do it; something, in any way you want; it does
not matter how you do it just needs to be done regardless of whatever way you
choose.
For example , when I was young I would hate to wash the dishes, and my mom
would tell me :”Hey go ahead and wash the dishes right now; this is very important”
I'd be like:” Hey mom ,can I can I wash it with this kind of ,you know, sponge .
She said: “Yes go ahead !” And I ask : Mom can I do it without with out a soap?
She would finally have it and yell at me :
“Wash the dishes already in any way you want”
It does not matter how you do; just wash them
just wash them; it does not matter with soap or what kind of sponge you have .
just wash them so they can be clean. It doesn't matter how you do it.
Alright so now guys you know how to use хоть kak with other particles or by
itself in the sentence . And if you can kind of see it's kind of all around this
idea of anyhow, or in any manner ;we just use them in different situations
to mean different things.
