Peter Capaldi video
Doctor who YouTube channel: Let's use Jodie's outro for a Peter video!
Me: Logic
Karen Gillian was in this episode as well… what an episode
Two future Doctor Who main cast members from this episode. Peter Capaldi and Karen Gillian
How come caecillius didn't get affected by tardis' perception effect?
It's like a scene from Asterix and the Laurel Wreath.
my two fave Doctors
And the fact Peter also played a character in Torchwood…
One of three unchangeable points in time, until Donna Noble came along
My head cannon is that Capaldi here is the doctor just messing with himself
Love the link to mary poppins during the first quake. The did the same as the banks when the captain shot his cannon
1:27 "Posts everyone please!"
I wonder. What incarnation of the doctor would rowan atkinson be?
When caecilius leans against the TARDIS it's like 12 is invading his body and is feeling so happy that he's just able to mess with his former self, through himself. Such a 12 thing to do.
caecilius in horto sedit
The first time I saw this episode was on the train from Naples to Pompeii
I just rewatched that episode a couple days ago. I really can't get enough of Doctor Who.
This is my 4th rewatch of the reboot series.
I only wish I could rewatch the classic series as well. I'll have to renew my BritBox subscription.
I wonder how Peter felt being on doctor who as a fan and side character.
Is I just me or do I not remember this episode?
Both pond and the 12th doctor in one episode both showing up early
It's so funny how similar to modern people the Roman characters are in this episode. Amazing writing (also, 'cavorting with Christians and all sorts' made me lol)

This episode introduced a Future Doctor and Future Companion … 😂😍👌
Who frowned me this face?
I love how most modern actors who play the doctor are fans of the classic series, got to keep the show inside the community.
Doctor meets doctor
Peter Capaldi: One day I shall come back, yes I shall come back.
If I had a nickel for every time a grumpy doctor appeared years before his regeneration I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird it's happened twice!
Don't get me wrong, I love William Hartnell, Tom Baker, Matt Smith and Jodie Whitaker as the Doctor, but Peter "Local Hero" Capaldi rocked this audition super hard.
I know Capaldi was over the moon to be in Dr Who
I chose to believe the 11th doctor just spent like 40 years chilling and found a another Tardis and took it to see what doctor would arrive to take it
"You call it modern art
I call it a blooming waste of space"
Meanwhile the TARDIS Wich is an entire dimension inside
It's amazing, from 0:45 to 0:55, that is 12. The characterisations are all there, the excitement, the thing about asking someone to get something then always adding something else, ending it with "there's a good man"
Peter really was incredible casting as 12
I also spotted Colin Baker appeared as a security guard during Peter Davison's era. Small pool of actors in BBC I guess
Did 10th met his Future Self during this Episode?
Hahaha back when Doctor Who was good.
Is it just me or is the family getting into “positions” to stop everything from falling over during the earth quake a homage to Mary poppins, and the family always getting into positions to do the same whenever the neighbour fires his cannon?
1:27 Is that a reference to Mary Poppins?
So, thats how the 12th Doctor gets his face from.
Several year’s before he became the doctor
So is him being in the show previously anything to do with the regeneration itself? Or are they just two characters played by the same person?
