Consciousness is linked to the material brain of that there is no doubt. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The big miracle is that the sense of immaterial self arises out of a biological material brain.

@TheCommunard agreed, most neuro scientist are stuck with trying to answer the question of the soul (consciousness) by the brain. the brain is just a tool for to soul to operate in this reality.
