ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Noam Chomsky is an American linguist, social commentator, and political activist. He is among the most cited scholars in the world and is the author of many books, including Syntactic Structures and Manufacturing Consent.

He is currently the Laureate Professor of Linguistics at the University of Arizona and an Institute Professor at MIT.
