I don’t understand how he can make the point that the AI will be this amazing absence of intelligence that can build anything you want it to but somehow there are going to be “the best” app that takes everything? Surely someone can just send their AI to one shot copy it and sell it for less/free or anyone who was going to purchase it initially can just get their AI to build their own niche version of the Best App In The Field and just never pay for anything digital again?

The idea that “the hottest programming language is English” really captures where things are heading—clear thinking and problem definition are becoming more valuable than syntax itself. Also loved the point about “no demand for average”—AI is amplifying leverage, not replacing ambition. From a strategy lens, early adopters who combine domain expertise with AI will dominate. Curious—do you think this shifts the bottleneck from technical skill to clarity of thinking and decision-making?
a great great conversation and takeaways were great.
I come to this talk quite often now, and I love it, and Naval's mind, but I do want to point out what I think are holes in your talk:
1) I dont think intelligence is the ability to get what you want. Plenty of people do, but that's a success oriented mindset. In a sense getting what you want requires forms of delusion, because you need to isolate yourself from reality. Intelligence I think is so complex it cant even be defined in a simple definition. For context I think intelligence is not just in us, but all around us. But that's my take.
2) Seeing what's under the command line, I don't see how thats related to the upcoming massive risks of AI. The future is not reflective of what we see right in front of us alone. There's many factors at play in relation to catastrophic events caused by AI, including bad actors, emergent properties that arise with the rapid development of this technology

What does he mean when he says AI doesn't have agency and entrepreneurs have agency? What exactly is agency?
I work in web design and development, the key take away for me from this podcast, is: everyone can build something, but people want the best, so whatever we build with AI, should be the best, and the best cannot be built by the average person.
I have a coding background as well, and I truly believe that that sets me, and anyone else with a coding background, apart from the rest of vibe coders who have absolutely 0 coding knowledge.
Naval is so smart, always hits the nail on the head.
