New Thinking Allowed with Jeffrey Mishlove
Paul Kalas is adjunct professor of astronomy at the University of California, Berkeley. He is known for his discoveries of debris disks around stars. Paul led a team of scientists to obtain the first visible-light images of an extrasolar planet. He has been recording his own dreams since his teenage years. He is the author of The Oneironauts: Using Dreams to Engineer Our Future. His website is https://sites.google.com/view/oneironauts
Here he describes dreams he had that, after careful examination, he believes were precognitive in nature. He explains the process by which he came to rule out alternative explanations. One of these dreams, in particular, appears to have contained detailed information regarding one of his major astronomical discoveries. He suggests that the study of precognitive dreams could be accelerated through application of sophisticated computer analysis.
New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in “parapsychology” ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). He is also the Grand Prize winner of the 2021 Bigelow Institute essay competition regarding the best evidence for survival of human consciousness after permanent bodily death. He is Co-Director of Parapsychology Education at the California Institute for Human Science.

I had a nightmare in 2018. Unfortunately, it came true 6 months later. It was so bad when I woke up I wrote it all down. It was full of symbolism very vivid and in color. I was severely harmed in 2017 and almost died from INTENTIONAL harm. I couldn't believe I had precognition of what was going to happen to me 6 months later after the nightmare. I have not had another one. That one was enough. I was paralyzed for a year unable to speak well. NO i did NOT have a stroke. I was traumatized from the harm done to me.
How do you explain that I don’t dream unless it precognitive but I have had less than maybe less than 20 real dreams in my 28 years of life and maybe 3 precognitive dreams a year but I can access rem cycle something wakes me up
I had a dream of driving into left entry of my double garage equipped with remote door opener. As I approached, the door ceased 3/4 of the way up and the mid panel distorted.
Three days later as I’m approaching the same door, it ceases 3/4 of the way up, identical to my dream except the panel did not distort but 3” indoor overhead spring snapped.
My most obvious one was the night before a dirtbike race that some of my husband's friends were riding in. 100miles over 4 laps. I dreampt one of the guys came 17th. I told everyone who was spectating with me. Not life changing but an interesting experience. The other one is predicting pregnancies or the gender of the baby. I haven't been wrong about that yet.
first precog dream I remember was of my uncle in India… saw him crash his motorbike, next day in England got a phone call that uncle had died… motorbike accident. the world is a weird and wonderful place indeed. thank you Sr Mishlove for such wonderful content 🙏
I have many precognitive dreams. I was in a group for a while that used dreams to make stock picks. I was a commodities trader at the time but the group had many accurate predictions. I keep a dream journal and use it.
perfect
Do you want to have Victor power you better have a few things correct you better have the right intent first of all that aligns with who you are and what you want to be and secondly you better be old specific about what you would like to find or the purpose is
See I agree with him and what he's saying, at 10 minutes and 30 seconds if I can't predict it before it happens in document it and share it with least other people or at least screenshot or something that I don't even count it I assume that is that epileptic you know Deja Vu or whatever he calls it because I just can't count like that even sometimes I have a dream document the dream but the meaning isn't revealed to me the last words I don't even count those because to me I could just be finding the meaning and analogy between them so unless I say what the dream is documented share with other people what I think it means I just missed it and I've had about a dozen of those
Insecure people should see a lot of professionals seem to think the confusion and complexity mean sophistication it's good to hear actual truly intelligent people from professionals take hold of the topic
I dreamed that I was talking to my mother on the phone and she got upset. Later that day I parked illegally and the police towed my car away. I had to pay a fine to get it back. Later still on the same day I was talking to mother on the phone. I remembered she'd got upset in my dream and I decided not to tell her about the car problem. The result was that she did not get upset.
There is an ancient school of buddhism, the Vaibhāṣika, who used to believe that the futur (as well as the past) is already manifested. According to them, the law of karma cannot be explained otherwise.
The Sautrāntikas, another ancient school of buddhism used to believe that the present actions create some "karmic seeds" which will ripen in the futur and trigger some events.
In vijñānavāda buddhist school, they believe that these "seeds" are contained in a "store-house consciouness" (ālaya vijñāna) which is actually a dynamic process (because of impermanence)
All these theories could provide an explanation for pre-cogntivie dreams.
Some shamans from Amazonian tribes believe that pre-cognitive dreams are caused retro-actively in the past (at the time of the dream) when the event happens in the present, and that the emotional shock triggers this phenomenon.
Retro-causality also seem to happen in quantum physics, so maybe the dream state is such a random process that it can behave like a quantum system a be influenced by the futur ?
100%. A dream journal will show you precognition is real!
If you order a dream about certain coordinates (time) it will be easy to interpret what you have seen.
A lot of guys like me can't have enough hard drive to record their dreams, but recently im waking up really early and i can have flashback of the ones im into at this stage of the night. Its been very hopeful for me so hoping for those whom are struggling like me keep on dreaming!
I received £2000 from a precognitive dream that I acted upon
I generally dream 1-3 weeks ahead of any marked change in my emotional state. The people and events of the dream can resemble the later reality, but not always. If you examine your dreams not by the events that take place but by the feelings that arise, dreams can make very wise mentors.
If we are relying on Occam's Razor, surely the simplest explanation is that the future DOES exist! That reality is time-less (and inaccessible to our limited senses), that only our physical presence is confined to a moment-by-moment experience of existence, while our consciousness is a continuum, spanning time and time-less, the physical and the immaterial … and the unconscious (dreaming) a bridge between eternity and our ordinary awareness.
What about precognition while awake?
That you remember clearly, until the event occurs?
8:49 usually the stars predict what a humans do! 😂
I have precognitive dreams..so far they haven't helped me at all..if anything they've just caused me stress. Sometimes I wonder if my subconscious is just that good at prediction, and that's all it is..
Journals are popular from time to time. Not everyone keeps them consistently.
Precognition and precognitive dreams depend on the urgency they instill in people.
For me they happened within a twenty four hour period.
For example, one day I needed our vehicle for an appointment and experienced an apprehension all day that an accident would happen.
Nothing happened during the day and we had an invitation to visit friends that evening.
At one point I had the feeling if we didn’t go home early we were in danger. My husband didn’t want to listen and we left two hours later.
Unfortunately the event happened on our way home.
A drunk driver ran through a stop sign and was T-boned and hit us before wrapping his car around a telephone pole.
Both my husband and I had neck injuries but the drunk driver was okay.
When I was 14 my mother asked me to go to a neighbour to get a package of cigarettes for her. On my way home I saw a circle around the full moon and a rhyme came to me…
“Circled moon. Death comes soon. My uncle Allister is going to die tonight. “
I didn’t say anything but when I got home from school the next day my mother was crying because her brother had been killed in a mine cave in on the night shift.
I’ve had these premonitions for years.
Good interview
I come here in order to escape to reality.
Thank you. 🩵🩵🩵
I’ve had three precognitive dreams that could have saved lives.
Good interview -thank you
