I find the host to be disingenuous. All this talk about how great psychedelics are is fine but letting go of your self-identity {ego} can be terrifying.
I think people with fragile personas should stay well away from them. My old friend is now a shell after taking a large dose of dried psilocybe cubensis.
Legalise ALL molecules/chemicals for so very many, often super obvious to ANY half intelligent person, reasons…! Way back in the day I ate some peyote buttons and eventually I ended up in Boulder Creek in Boulder Colorado. I remember merging with the water in the creek like I was water molecules. Then I flowed with the water in the creek and I became aware that I was connected to all the places that the creek flowed. Then eventually, I merged with the Mississippi River and flowed into the Gulf of Mexcio. I became aware that I was the totality of the water in the Gulf of Mexica and then I was the totality of the all the water on the Earth. It was a powerful experience to realize how really, really alive the Earth is and how I was connected to it.
I did psychedelics many times in my 20's. Almost every trip was amazing and incredibly enjoyable. No it didn't make me insane, but gave my life a renound sense of child-like wonder that has stayed with me 40 years on. Yes there were a few times tripping when I had moments of real terror, but it was always quickly followed by laughter over it. I have no regrets over taking it.
Every once in a great while a vid appears in my YT feed that I feel has great relevance in my life. Coming of age as a visual artist in the late-70s early-80s in NYC I’ve tried every manner of mind altering substance. Personally the best and most mind-expanding journey I’ve had (bar none) has been on psilocybin. Next in line would be hashish & 420 (THC), thankfully the latter has been legalized here. The world is definitely going through a mental health epidemic with covid being the last straw. SOMETHING needs to stop the growing psy ops politicians are using to instill & strengthen phobias to subjugate the masses.
They might catch me but when u focus on the gateway that happen behind perception, but yeah something along those lines is what fascinates me

The first time I smoked weed I didn't want to mix it with tobacco but my friend really wanted to smoke joints. I swear, at a high enough dose the first time, time stops and you experience all sorts of special feelings. Comparable to strong edibles
