This just in! Quantum physics tells us that consciousness creates reality! The physical realm is just a mental construct! This means you can heal yourself with your mind, you can manifest your desires, and you can commune with the universe to achieve ultimate transcendence! At least that’s what some would have you believe. In actuality, physics says nothing of the sort. This is all just a ridiculous narrative spewed by con men that has come to be known as quantum mysticism. Together let’s identify its origin, with figures like Deepak Chopra, and trace its development over the past few decades, culminating in YouTube channels like Spirit Science and Actualized.org, which go beyond mere pseudoscience and act as literal cults. Oh boy, I had no idea how deep Leo's rabbit hole went. I've only watched one video by the guy from him critiquing Libertarianism, and found his arguments persuasive. Tried afterwards to watch another of his videos then dropped him because I didn't like that spirituality vibe he was putting off. Basically just dismissed him as a harmless new age dude.

I love that because of the topic and title of the video, and presumably the tags that are applied to it as well, the ads that play are all selling the exact bullshit that this video is debunking. Hilarious.

Spirit Science is always been a bit of a bug bear to me, I was in a very bad place in my life and nearly fell for his brand of snake oil a few years ago. Glad to see him pop up here and get torn apart.
