  1. As a metal drummer, ever since I've learned of this I've wondered if somewhere, anywhere, someone's had their kick pedal beater go through their drum head without breaking it like this

  2. When you pressed hard, you removed the air between your fingers and the glass. This is not a demonstration of quantum tunneling. Verify your demonstrations before sharing it to public. You are a science educator.

  3. Although this is THEORETICALLY possible with an indestructible barrier, this is impossible to happen in real life, no matter how thin an object is. Electrons and other subatomic/quantum particles aren't just tiny solid balls that only influence each other by directly touching; they have an electromagnetic field that extends far beyond just the particle itself, including to the space between the particles of an atom that science enthusiasts say is what makes quantum tunneling possible. If you tried to push an electron through the space between a molecule's subatomic particles, this electromagnetic field would simply keep it repelled and stop it from doing so. With the amount of force you'd need to overcome this repulsion and penetrate through the atoms, you would have already simply just split the atoms apart from each other and caused kinetic damage to the molecule. Remember, it's called THEORETICAL Physics for a reason.

  5. It seems like it works like fog if you far away from fog you can't see a object through it but once you get close enough you can start to see the object

  6. Ahhhh…. No…. It is what is known as reflection as you are now seeing the reflection of your finger on the inside surface instead of seeing the reflection of water on the outside surface.

Quantum anything has F'all to do with it.

  7. This is not true! When you press your finger, the air is squeezed out and a layer of sweat and sebum remains between the skin and the glass. These substances provide optical contact between the skin and the glass, allowing light to pass through rather than being refracted!

  8. Aww meeeahnn, that's how come runners don't work 100% of the time! Every once in a while a, "THE FLASH," sperm just blasts right through that bad Larry. I hate quantum tunneling : (

  9. It’s like a big belly and someone’s belly is pushin’ up into the buttons.

He’s about at his limit. I happen to know a guy who’s at his limit.
