1. Deepak Chopra is an idiot. Show these guys a video of a hyena ripping apart a wildebeest to shreds and everything will make sense to these guys

2. IMO. Past, present and future occurred simultaneously during the big bang. We are playing out the events in time, as though we are the actors in a movie like dream. But time is an illusion. The one element in time that is real is love. In a weird twist, love is what is keeping the real world behind this heavy veil going. The veil will drop when we are all one. When the one Son is healed, this dream will end.

3. This exactly what the Buddha stated! These men are truly wise and in a sense enlightened

5. The epistemological wall here is the dire muddling of language going on..
   Consciousness as the manifestation of mind (brain) is the interactive mode for the 3 dimensional body to navigate reality..
   Awareness precedes consciousness and mind, it precedes all matter as without an awareness there can be no interaction..
   Please don't be so dull as to anthropomorphise awareness either..

6. Reality exists without consciousness, because we can discover things. We are not aware of a planet (planet x) lightyears away from us, but it does exist, even though we did not found that planet x. Just like a car that turns a corner out of sight is still there, we just don't see it.

   We only call a planet a planet and a car a car because of mental schema's. A planet doesn't exist without consciousness, but the actual planet is still actually there, it just doesn't have a name

    It's a non-disprovable hypothesis, disfavored by Occam's Razor.

12. Suggestion: Get your hands on a copy of 'Ockham's Razor' by Wade Rowland. It explains a lot. This goes for you too Dr. Peterson.

13. If there were only humans perhaps…. but animals seems to perceive the material world.

14. So the content of the discussion is: "Well, obviously from a personal standpoint, yes. But in an absolute, universal sense, it's hard to say." It's kind of a ridiculous question. I mean, how would you run that experiment? Go around and kill all conscious beings in the universe, and see if the universe disappears? Like, who is going to record the results? Also, when you get around to killing the last person besides yourself, the question collapses to the "weak," personal version of the question. It's as unanswerable as the question of Free Will. We are pretty sure that Free Will is an illusion, but that's not good enough to get rid of the illusion. If the universe ceases to exist without conscious beings, who's going to give a damn?

15. Reality is the interplay between foci of consciousness/awareness. That's pretty much all there is to it, but that's plenty…

17. The primacy of Consciousness, vs the primacy of Existence. Answer: Consciousness only exists as a consequence of Existence. The mind does not create existence, Existence created the mind. Ayn Rand wrote well about this, see Objectivity.
