3. During the trailer it looked like Oz and Oscar were battling on who should have control. The struggle looked intense as Oscar was really putting up a fight. Team RWBY could do nothing but watch, but what was telling was seeing every one’s different reactions. We already know that Yang and Weiss KNOW about Ozpin but I’m sure Ruby and Blake don’t really understand just based on their reactions.

4. I say…stub his toe on a rock hidden in the snow. Those hurt.

6. He finally got around to watching volume 3. He was an Arkos shipper.

7. I totally agree with everyone saying Oscar and Ozpin starting become one and it might be to much for his mind to handle.

   I have two other theories and they both involve Salem. One of them doesn't make sense and I couldn't find the right words but the other is kinda linked with everyone's theory.

   1: He could be having a vision or flashback (Through merging with Ozpin) involving Salem that is quite overwhelming.

   2: Salem could be trying to mess with Oscar's mind with some Grimm shit (Not Literal) because Hazel informed her. (This one doesn't make sense but the last part does)

   I really think Hazel would have informed Salem about Ozpin being reincarnated into Oscar. He definitally would do that and I know for sure it will cause trouble for Oscar (+ the others).

8. Blake and Yang are the only ones looking like they're ready to swing at him

11. I don't think there was a grim behind Oscar because all of team RWBY were looking at him and not behind him…I like the theory that the relic is hurting both Ozpin and Oscar

12. You know if I was Oscar I would've told ozpin to fuck off and stay on the farm until ozpin eventually takes over my body.

13. Maybe Since oscar is a recent vessel for ozpin it puts him at risk of being possessed by another entity like salem since she was extending her hand outwards like oscar, maybe she's trying to make ruby hand over the relic so that she can take it for herself.

14. He ate too much of the spicy noodles bowl from A Simple Wok. He just needs some rest and a few bathroom trips. He'll be fine.

16. I have a theory if you are interested. That Cinder will return as a Grimm ghost and will try to take control of the body of the new Fall Maiden.

17. I wanna throw little theory out there. I think Ozpin/Oscar is reacting to the manticore Grimm that attack the train. I theorize that perhaps he is like allergic to or weakened by their presence (Ozpin's soul). I am trying to remember, but I don't believe we ever saw Ozpin interact with a Grimm or Oscar interact with one since Ozpin merged with him. In fact, I believe that is why Ozpin barricaded himself inside Beacon Tower. Because the Grimm are like his Kryptonite. Now, since the Grimm attacked the train, their realm of influence cause Ozpin/Oscar pain or anguish and that is why he is reacting like that in the snow. This could play off the idea that Maidens are weak to the Silver Eyes and Grimm are "scared" of the Silver-eyed Warriors. I am probably way off on this, but I cannot recall a single time Ozpin or Ozpin/Oscar has been around a Grimm until now.

18. Perhaps the relics power is linked to the gods intimately. Ozpins curse could be mean he can't handle the relics, if he can't. Basically the curse ousted him from "divine glory" and prevented him from being in its presence. He would live forever unable to return to the "light of heaven".

    I say it all in """" so avoid too much overlap with any religious system in particular or literal interpretations. This still works if it was all just science. Just means he was actually punished by removing him from whatever science powers he may have once taken for granted. Maybe there is a city where he originally lived but he can't set foot there due to the "light of heaven".

19. Sorry for all the comments but i re watched this video and got thinking lol. Im still not sold on the idea that silver eyes don't weaken maidens. We know grim powers weaken you and Cinder had grim powers. We do not know anything about the silver powers though besides that the Grimm don't like em. This just bring me to thinking about terrible shipping with the Branwen twins and Summer where her very touch weakens them. Basically raven wasn't upset about being a bird but about being "cursed" by Ozpins power and unable to be with summer. This of course slipped Ozpins mind, perhaps because it was not relevant until Summer became more accustomed to her powers to the point where it was passively expressed in everything she did.

It would be the worst thing if something made Oscar have more power in keeping control of his body and he becomes like Raven who doesn't believe him and then ozpin in Oscars head says something that's important for everyone to know but Oscar says "no, you're a asshole. I'm not helping you anymore." And oscar falls into the snow because oz has to risk destroying Oscars mind to merge souls completely because he wants to take the lead again with the people he has like he was doing in volume 3 :p

    (Like that would only happen if he somehow got a flashback through oz or Salem/emerald used illusions to mess with his head.

21. my, Theory is Maybe Oscar has a vision about his farm being destroyed by Salem so that's why he's screaming

22. Well, this is a stretch but in the trailer, The arm outstretched that Oscar is doing when he's on the ground is towards Ruby and the relic at her hip. Not only that but it mirrors the hand that Salem has outstretched at another point in the trailer. Coupling this with the nightmare he had about her in Volume 4, what if Salem has a way to get to Ozpin through his dreams? And maybe she did something through him/Oscar like tried to take the relic or attacked Ruby in some capacity? Yang in the trailer looks WAY angrier than just Ozpin saying some bs, especially since she didn't react nearly as strongly about the Grim relic attraction. Weiss also looks notably pissed and standoffish in the scene and as you pointed out, Blake looks ready to draw her weapon. I have only ever seen Yang's face make that much disgust when she saw Adam attack Blake, I imagine if Oscar did something, even not in his control, it would send her into a rage.

    I mean Ozpin, as we knew him, was literally ALWAYS drinking coffee (or what we assume was coffee) maybe he was avoiding sleep for some reason? Bit far-fetched I know but figured I'd throw in my two cents

23. He was reaching towards the Relic and it might have been Ozpin in control since he was still weak from Haven, but I don’t know how long it’s been.

24. I feel like Jaune is going to confront Ozpin after he realizes he's taking over Oscars body. I say this because he believes Pyrrah was forced to become the Fall Maiden and since he has kind of gotten to know Oscar and remembers what Ozpin has done, he would like to prevent it from happening again.
