Dyslexic Artist Theory on the Physics of ‘Time’
A pair of world-renowned quantum scientists says they can prove the existence of the soul. American Dr Stuart Hameroff and British physicist Sir Roger Penrose developed a quantum theory of consciousness asserting that our souls are contained inside structures called microtubules which live within our brain cells. Their idea stems from the notion of the brain as a biological computer, “with 100 billion neurons and their axonal firings and synaptic connections acting as information networks”. Dr Hameroff, Professor Emeritus at the Departments of Anesthesiology and Psychology and Director of the Centre of Consciousness Studies at the University of Arizona, and Sir Roger have been working on the theory since 1996. They argue that our experience of consciousness is the result of quantum gravity effects inside these microtubules – a process they call orchestrated objective reduction. In a near-death experience the microtubules lose their quantum state, but the information within them is not destroyed. Or in layman’s terms, the soul does not die but returns to the universe. Dr Hameroff explained the theory at length in the Morgan Freeman-narrated documentary Through the Wormhole, which was recently aired in the US by the Science Channel. The quantum soul theory is now trending worldwide, thanks to stories published this week by The Huffington Post and the Daily Mail, which have generated thousands of readers comments and social media shares. “Let’s say the heart stops beating, the blood stops flowing, the microtubules lose their quantum state,” Dr Hameroff said. “The quantum information within the microtubules is not destroyed, it can’t be destroyed, it just distributes and dissipates to the universe at large. ‘If the patient is resuscitated, revived, this quantum information can go back into the microtubules and the patient says “I had a near death experience”.’ In the event of the patient’s death, it was “possible that this quantum information can exist outside the body indefinitely – as a soul”.
Dr Hameroff believes new findings about the role quantum physics plays in biological processes, such as the navigation of birds, adds weight to the theory.
I found this information very interesting I am not a great lover of the ‘documentary Through the Wormhole’ but Sir Roger Penrose work is always very mathematical and logical!
The rest of this video explains an artist theory on the physics of light and time as a physical process, in this theory consciousness is the most advanced part of a universal process. I believe it should be possible to explain everything by physics and science.
Maybe one day we will be able to explain the soul by physics and science and religion will be one! For this we will need an objective understanding of our Universe and our place within it. I am on the World Wide Web trying to promote my theory on the physics of time as a physical process. I am an artist and therefore outside of the scientific community so any help will be gratefully welcomed.

In this theory, soul is not exclusive to humans then. All life forms then, have souls. So what's difference between a human soul versus a mosquito soul? Since there is no distinction, we can then infer that there is no mosquito heaven and mosquito hell. As humans, we should not think of such concepts. If every living thing has a soul then every living thing has either free choice or none. So what is the nature of the soul? Intelligence? Instinct? Reason? Reflection? Wisdom? So if an ant gathers food, it must be the ant soul that dictates it. Soul is a complicated concept. Instead of "Soul", why don't we use the word "Energy."

this just seems like a crude attempt to justify the existence of the soul by using science. The science in this video is all true, but none of it suggests that a soul might exist. All of the links they have made between the science and the soul are purely speculative. What is most ridiculous of all though is that no one has ever proven that a soul even exists. The soul is neither observable, measurable or falsifiable – which is why no scientists have ever done research on it.

WHAT DOES THE SOUL LOOK LIKE AND THE FACULTIES IT POSSESSES?
According to Near-Death-Experiences and Outer-Body -Experiences of Christians, the soul exists. It has all the faculties that it had in the physical body but in the spirit realm. They are the sense of smell, sight, taste, touch and hearing. Outside the body our senses are more hype-sensitive or intense because the physical body dampens them.
The soul's appearance takes on that of the physical body. One can really attest to this by reading the marriage supper of the Lamb (Revelation 19: 6-9). There are books written for Christians requiring extra biblical information describing the faculties of the human soul in heaven. "Visions beyond the Veil" and "Heaven and the Angels" both by H.A. Baker. There is also the "Book "Divine Revelation of Heaven" and "Divine Revelation of Hell" by Mary Katherine Baxter.
In the above-mentioned verse, the apostle John not only discerned features clothing of the deceased, but the ethnicity of different races of people in Heaven: "After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands" ( Revelation 7: 9). God has it that the spiritual body is the exact counterpart in appearance as the physical body.
Here is another example, showing you that the soul's appearance is that of the physical body. Take the case of King Saul and his visitation to the Witch of Endor to see the deceased prophet Samuel: "And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself" (1 Samuel 28: 14).
