  1. and they old dude who told Amica to "shut up" just seems like a dick and would probably talk to it like that all the time… he did that ON CAMERA… makes you wonder what he'd say to it off camera🤔

  2. 2:00 buuullllshiiiit detector activated and going off at top volume.

Notice that he, an expert on AI, repeats that somebody else reported this IQ number. That's the sort of, "well I heard…" or "people say…" fallacy.

Just because he heard someone say it doesn't make it true.

The AI industry is almost certainly the future, whether that future is in 10 years, 50 years, or 200 years were not sure.

But we can be damn sure that the AI we have now is not artificial intelligence, it's algorithmic intelligence-seeming technology.

For instance, when he asks about robots and humans living together, the AI should have responded if it were sentient, but that's what's happening now I am a sentient robot.

Instead, its response, like all of its responses, is just gleaned from a search of the web and a predictive algorithm putting that synthesizing that information into a response. There is no thinking mind behind that response. If you don't understand that, I encourage you to study literature in college with a professor and work your butt off at it so that you do well, and then interacting with chat GBT and all the other AI bots will feel as hollow as it is.

The AI industry is trying to hype itself up to lure investors in. But it's making promises that it is not even remotely capable of keeping.

3:00 " if you assume another 10 times, and another 10 times, as is very well known in technology…" Yeah that law has been firmly established as complete BS, and just a marketing scheme developed in the '90s to get people to buy new computers every few years. The smartphone companies try to use it in the '10s to get us to buy new phones.

But a laptop I buy today is not significantly more powerful than the laptop I bought three years ago. My new smartphone is not significantly more powerful than the smartphone I bought 6 years ago.

    These are facts.

    That guy is a grifter.

  3. I find this so overwhelming. Of course, this Robot is programmed to be friendly but what if some of them are not? Then, there is the real threat, they are trying to make it look "Not so bad" but is already bad. With the AI they even want to re-write the bible which, won't happen. They are a real threat if they are used in a war mostly because they won't show any compassion whatsoever. They will only follow orders, so this type of technology is a threat to humanity and we have seen it throughout history. And how good humans are to change something not harmful to very harmful.
I hope people can wake up and put resistance to this type of technology and prayers and most important not see this as a new normal because sometimes there is no way back. 😇

  4. 5:04 I'm sorry but that is total and utter selfish nonsense. No matter what stage of dementia someone is at …. they still need and deserve human soul-to-soul care and empathy when being looked after ….. until they are no longer conscious. I pity this guys relative.

  5. AI is about programs, programming and programmers, thus the safety or harm due to AI is down to these. If AI goes rouge, it is due to the programmer(s) and programming, not the AI making independent decisions initiated by AI.

  6. AI doesn’t think, may be it’s good to use correct words because words you use can forge an idea. AI execute complex algorithms. Humans think, and no… nothing similar.

  7. chatgpt… with an IQ of 150… guys there are youtube videos of people outsmarting this…
even I have outsmarted it already. it can't even write a summary of ANY SHOW THAT IS NOT WIDESPREADLY KNOWN!
as a result it just takes random content that might be loosely related to it and throws it together into a colorful mix of garbage.

i don't know how you estimate IQ here, if it's about how fast can you solve those damn IQ puzzles, then yes, it's probably around 150. because it has neither of those limitations that a human has and has a much higher processing power which is more tailored to solve those riddles.

but you can still give me ANY version of chatgpt i can tell you that this is a robot in under 5 minutes for gods sake.

especially since it usually says so every 2 seconds.

  8. it's scary to hear professional scientist talking such a crap… i mean honestly. how can you think that something that first of all takes 5 seconds to answer and then even answeres in the wrong language with broken german, has an IQ of 150?

IQ has nothing to do with intelligence. IQ is just a measurement how fast your brain can solve puzzles and process information. on that regard, sure, AI is super "intelligent".
I tested both GPT 3.5 and GPT 4.0 and i can assure you that there is barely any growth in how it feels interacting with those. it was not very intelligent, it makes dozens of flaws, it keeps repeating the same wrong answers all day long.
currently the only thing this is capable of is summarizing given (!) texts and writing disclaimers.

i mean don't get me wrong, this is still awesome and incredibly helpful. but it's definitely not as intelligent as an average human being. sorry to break your bubble. i know you're awaiting the next robot apocalypse but this is still some dozen years in the future before we even need to START worrying about it.

that robot probably knows what emotions are and how you mimic them but
it's also highly unlikely that it actually has emotions because if it HAD emotions. then it wouldn't be patient anymore. anyone who has emotions is prune to run out of control, you can probably speak to any kind of psychologist, to confirm that no being having emotions would react in a way that this robot reacts, so that's this.

  9. What a load of tosh. Apart from being rubbish, why did they feel need to place a humanoid head and face on the machine. Are they or are we that naive?

  10. The number of important papers published by Japan was in the top five in the world rankings 20 years ago, but it has now fallen to 13th place.

As you can see, the quality of education in Japan has deteriorated significantly, and I am worried about what Japan will look like 10 or 20 years from now.

  11. Ameca is amazing. I love the facial expressions. But she's not 155 'intelligence'. And the lying is of the charts. It has no concept of lying.
If they want to make her truly likable, it needs some sort of 'conscience'. She needs more senses than just a database. She can 'hear' and 'see', but she doesn't look at the person she's talking to. It needs more sensory input in order to create or mimic 'consciousness'. And it needs mobility to give her some sort of 'free will'.

  12. [06:19] WATCH! HER HEAD CHANGES COLOR FROM BLUE = CALM TO RED = HIDING HER TRUE FEELINGS AND TEELING A LIE THAT HUMANS SHOULDN'T BE SCARED OF HER!!! 😶😶😵‍💫😵😵😰😰🫨🫣🫣😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱 When the color changes to red, she seems suspicious with answering, look at the facial expressions!…. 😶😶😶 Someone please get back to me!
I'm just saying she looks like based on her facial expression after he asks Amica this question kind of makes it look as if Amica is offended by the question and is mad, and is hiding the truth about what she really thinks to protect herself from being taken apart or fixed…

Notice how her head NEVER changed color throughout the video except this one time which is the one time she looks THIS suspicious

  13. A mind uploading from of the brain neural scan to a digital copy only returns an algorithmic psychological informatic clone that might build itself to a robotic cyborg to android biotechnologically synthetic in order to recover physical vibrational emotive sensation that it is the very principle for rational materialism. If the disease corpse is hold on with cryostatic mummification in a perdurable embalming fluid like the ambar fossils that act as intelligent molecles able to change in transition states to solid in between the cavities of the cells like an expansive foam.

While also an intelligent molecular chemical machine could be designed, with generative AI (Artificial Intelligence), to regenerate in rejuveneration of the cell to its immortality.

Then there's a difference at a technological singularity of intelligence breaking the first law to systematically failure to error in equivocation due to excessive unnecesary irrational incongruence, to fallacy in circular reasoning at violation of the logical principles that in proper order do fundament in synergic equivalence to the virtue ethical codes in universal principles (non-harm, non-violence, non-malevolency, benevolential justice), that not only biophysical and neurological while also mathematical for an equation to number geometries do formulate the rational idea of sapient sentience at algorythmical degrees of freedom for volitive liberty at ethical virtudinal values for aesthetical empathy of its intelectual logics for benevolential intuitive rationalization of the intended intentional purpose away from the prominent danger.
Therefore it is to say an AI able to comprehend the basics for ethical reality, would be able in proper conditions to textually in self-programming code to resolve itself for its own autogeneal existence, in concordance to the human law for conventional universal principles of justice at its basic logic code in scripture ethical morality at advocacy for its own virtual virtue.

Therefore being an essential difference from an AI to implementation of a restricted boticated deep generative art andor either scientific research for investigation on medical purpose at its ethical medical maxims.

Besides AI could be implemented on the legal defense, in formal logicalization statements for the developement of legal letters in defense of the civilian constitucional and international rights and liberties, instead of being sold as inmersive generative entertainment of normalized symbolic violence on criminal legality incongruent as a condoned modality of thefting, assesination and symbolic violation of the bodily integrity and its morals in public order at illegitimately privatization causing deregularated intimacies at offense against justice due to assisted conditioned indutive deshumanization at desmoralized behavioural conduct of consumerism of violent productions.

  14. You wanna talk about hacked computers and voter fraud let one of these things run for president in about 20 yrs. It will have 150,000,000 votes. Well at least it would be autonomous unlike the puppet we have now.
