Sophisticated Dustpan Pour with Negative Space using Arteza Paints/ Acrylic Pour/Modern Art

I do love my signature style with the dustpan pan pour!. Across the top is where I love it, balanced with a deep negative space. This fluid piece gives a sense of sophistication and elegance in one. With a modern and contemporary essence that will grace any wall. Add a gold floating frame and it would be perfect. I’m enjoying this series and now I’m thinking of my next piece! With that said suggestions would be lovely and I will l see what works! Maybe another ring pour like the first to balance the first two!

The Arteza metallic paints are a must have. They mixed smoothly with Mix Medium and remained gorgeous and vibrant!

I was inspired by Christine Jeszeck beautiful work. Check out the video that inspired me:

  1. U mention use of 24k Gold color in pour to reach "structure" ( at end of this pour video). What does that mean? How does it relate to design? Is this a term in fluid arts/ pouring arts because the poured colors determine the final look of the piece? Thx 4 your thoughts.

This piece is so elegant! The dustpan technique is very interesting to watch you mix it and pour it in to pan and onto canvas. I'm smitten with colors as you can tell! lol Beginner learning.

  2. Sometimes simple really is the best. It's so elegant and sophisticated and yet so simple and I'm sure it's a lot harder to do than you made it look. Well done.

  3. Someone needs to invent audio for comments like when you can send an audio text because I really wish you could be in my living room and hear my voice say “oh my god look what she did now” to my husband! Great concept Sarah, it’s just beautiful, I love it, so glad you keep getting new ideas. Thanks for doing & sharing, so cool 😎

  4. I love the design but for me the gold, white and black design needed to come down further. It was too top heavy but all people see art differently. I do love the design and it is beautiful, just wishing you had let it go down a little further. I'm sure you will be able to sell it easily, Nice work as always!

  5. WOW! Love this Sarah!! (I'm really glad the black and gold didn't turn to that weird color!) This is STUNNING!! That's one helluva dustpan!! You nailed this one…. thank you so much for your videos!

  6. Sarah, in one of my FB groups someone suggested using glue dots to hold cups on the bottom of the canvas while pouring. I tried it and it worked like a charm. I know you prefer propping the canvas on cups rather than using pushpins and thought I’d pass this tip along. Love the painting, BTW!
