Science and technology minister Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane has been nominated as a member of a new multi-stakeholder global artificial intelligence (AI) council.
The South African National Space Agency has also been recently chosen by the International Civil Aviation Organisation as one of only two regional centres which will provide services including solar storm forecasts and warnings to the global aviation sector.
