Me frantically pulling out robo-dog treats to make the new manager look the other way
Always loved Boston Dynamics, If could work anywhere and for any company in the world it would be them. I'd probably work for just expenses so I could speak to these guys & girls. I associate BD with ground breaking tech in every guise. I've followed them from the very early days and they never cease to amaze me. Clever and very gifted people.
In 2019, the NGO Mighty Earth released a 56-page report on Cargill. Mighty Earth chair and former U.S. Congressman Henry A. Waxman called Cargill "the worst company in the world" and said it drives "the most important problems facing our world" (deforestation, pollution, climate change, exploitation) "at a scale that dwarfs their closest competitors."
In 2024, the USDA reported that Cargill was administering human-grade antibiotics to its cattle, despite labelling the beef products as free of antibiotics.[124] The Bureau of Investigative Journalism reported that Cargill used antibiotics deemed vital for human health by the World Health Organization. This practice leads to human population antibiotic resistance, a source of human suffering prioritized by the UN. These antibiotics are FDA-restricted and require a veterinarian's prescription. However, farmers remain responsible for the proper administration of antibiotics
It is not enough. A human is a way more advanced
Forwarding this to my manager. Maybe we can replace some of our useless lazy maintenance guys with a robot dog lol
I’m disgusted learning that you’re owned by Hyundai
