Dr. Dan Dennett presents a Darwinian view of religion in the 21st century
Daniel Dennett is the Austin B. Fletcher Professor of Philosophy, and Co-Director of the Center for Cognitive Studies at Tufts University, and the author of 16 books includingConsciousness Explained, Darwin’s Dangerous Idea, Breaking the Spell and most recently, Intuition Pumps and other Tools for Thinking. He is perhaps best known in cognitive science for his multiple drafts (or “fame in the brain”) model of human consciousness and is considered to be among the most influential philosophers of our day. Professor Dennett has published more than 300 scholarly articles and was awarded the prestigious Erasmus Prize in 2012 for his contributions to society.
