The brain doesn’t work like a computer, a computer works like a brain.. yes, DNA is like biological data, yes, our brains fire neurons and processes information in code but that does not make us walking fucking iPhones.. when you over simplify biology like this you leave gaps for people to add their own stupid shit, what we know as consciousness and cognitive thought develops with the brain, to say that it’s “downloaded” into the brain would imply that the brain forms before its even assigned a function, all the information stored within your brain tissue is responsible for your consciousness (your ability to be self aware) the reason why you already have these functions is because of the DNA passed down from your parents that determines how the brain is formed, millions of years worth of evolutionary data is not added to your brain but passed down through genes.. the brain cannot be formed without this genetic information and this information does not exist without a brain
