All four authors have recently received a large amount of media attention for their writings against religion – some positive, and some negative. In this conversation the group trades stories of the public’s reaction to their recent books, their unexpected successes, criticisms and common misrepresentations. They discuss the tough questions about religion that face the world today, and propose new strategies for going forward.

They’ve hit the nail on the head. Religion contrived to make criticism offensive. Offence in the Uk is now treated as a crime. Whatever happened to free speech? Well, I will still exercise that right. If I offend, then the fault lies in the weakness of your faith.

Peter hitchens was and is smarter to most who know both their work well and Christopher was the smartest of these four by far.

As a human being I can’t imagine ceding my freedom of thought and reason to anyone. Doing that seems to me to be contrary to human nature. Thus, I’d never even ask that of another person. Life is short, and I have learned so little of what is knowable, and even observable, so I will never stop learning, seeking to understand what is true in the universe. Discourse such as what these men had are what energizes me in my quest. I consider my seminal accomplishment as a parent to be allowing my children, as they grew, to seek their own path toward understanding the universe and their place in it, and make up their own minds about religion, etc. The discourse my children and I have as adults today as a result is the greatest of gifts.
I'm over analyzing their drinks of choice way too much.
Wish these brilliant men would’ve focused their intellect on how corrupt the government and these corporations are as well.

“Have you realised that you have wasted your life”. Wow. Try saying it in a church. Especially evangelical. Isn’t it funny how Jesus said that we will have ears to hear but not hear. Thankfully it’s never too late to hear the truth and the learning from a life of lies is amazingly useful. But it’s sad too.
I despise moderated discussions. The moderator always is the biggest kiss-ass, mental midget in the room.
We all believe as we do. Belief is not a conscious choice. I never choose to be atheist; I just am.
I love Hitch but it’s wonderful to realize that Sam has so many poignant things to say as well. And to some he’s probably more, how should I say this, digestible that Hitchens.

Good that people like Berliński exist and he is right to say "Atheism Poisons Everything" the for of them are as much fundamental as people they talked about. What about many thousands of scientists around the world who are religious and are in opposition to this pack.Simply they will lose jobs when atheism will grow enough. Since Hitchens death number of abuses towards religious people on social media started growing greatly, mocking, abusing,them every day it is a shame.
I like to know why Dr Richard Carrier, also an Atheist is not part of the Horsemen? I think he's fighting Religions at its foundation…no historicity of the character jesus.
