Someone help me, am I right that Hoffmann is not just saying that the proverbial Forrest tree makes no sound. He’s saying that if you’re not there to observe it, then the tree simply does not exist? If so this would be patently absurd, surely?
I just accidentally hit my head on the wall. This happens because I’m ND and dyspraxic and I hadn’t noticed where the wall was. This is my experience of life. It keeps happening to me wether like it or not; wether I see it or not; wether I anticipate it or not. The Universe has its own life, its own existence and it is supremely indifferent to whether I’m conscious of it or not. And whether or not I have a virtual reality headset, which is telling me I’m in a Swiss meadow, I’ll still hit my head on that fucking wall.
So, when someone tells me the moon is only there for as long as I’m looking at it, this sounds like the height of absurdity. Firstly, because if I’m watching the moon with a friend and close my eyes, my friend will tell me the moon is still there. What’s more, my friend will correctly consider me a lunatic for questioning its existence.

This is where scientists in all fields are going wrong. COnsciousness is the origination of the universe, i.e this universe and others originated out of consciousness but till u experience something urself u will never believe it. WHich is why the only way to experience the consciousness is through enlightenment , which is what spirituality teaches.

As a kid I fantasised things like "superpositions" when I lost a toy and couldn't find it …. I had a vision of that toy resolved in grainy pixels, capsuled in an inaccessible realm.
