My life moved on and returned home to my England. I do have fond memories of Ceylon and the school I attended.

True gentleman, I have seen him playing those days. Most stylish cricketer I have seen in life. I have seen a lot of cricketers through these years.
Very fun loving ( Olympia Theatre ).

Bada Mohan De Silva was the Capt of St Thomas .Two captains that match their wits.
Great to know them.
❤.
A very good and interesting interview with one of the great personalities from our Royal College days. Excellent insights and comments from Ranjan Madugalle.
During our time, the role of Senior Prefects was quite different, and the standards and expectations were certainly much higher. I fully agree with Ranjan Madugalle's observations and reflections.
Just one small suggestion regarding the video production: it would have been better to pay a little more attention to the background. I noticed some visible wires, which can be distracting to viewers. A cleaner background or a different camera angle would have enhanced the overall presentation. Closing remarks from Ranjan is superb. This where it all started.
Nevertheless, a wonderful interview. Thank you for sharing it.
Having been a contemporary Royalist in your time. I salute you as a gentleman who kept the name of Royal and the legacy of all who were fortunate to have passed through its hallowed portals in their life. All blessings to you Ranjan. 🙏
Hey Madda, i used to play softball cricket with you just in front of Longdon Place Ruby grounds, and you improved your batting playing with us, but then after u made it u forgot your past, became Arrogant and ignored me, by the way your sister i admired, what a beauty she is. Lost touch with u guys after I left Royal, and emigrated to US. ( I was admitted to Royal after I became the 3rd in the all island admission test, Not thru influence }
Missing l in humble in your intro… humbe….
