  1. Imagine having a power plant generated by lightning, its free and yet powerful enough to lighten up an entire city or probably a nation. Why haven't the scientist figured out how to harness it? We have the sun, wind, water and lightning as the source of free renewable energy and yet we're still depending on gas to support our lives, why??? Oh yes, just as Thomas Edison said to Tesla, it's bad for bussiness 👀.

  2. Slow mo videos of lightning shows otherwise. Lightning actually creeps from the clouds, branching out like roots, til contact is made with the ground, then all the charge is dumped through the connected plasma, and propagation of branches that haven't reached the ground immediately terminate. it doesn't flash back up and down, it hits the ground and is dumped like a static charge being neutralised.

  3. i dont know why but I've never been scared of thunder and lightning ever, as a child i would get so happy when i heard a small thunder. its been a kind of comfort.
