This video gives you a few tips for painting with children who have special needs as well as a simple art project. If the children, or you, have a hard time holding things, use a large brush, tape the brush to your arm (check out what the artist Chuck Close does), use large containers for the paint, and use a larger paper. The project is a color field painting based on the paintings of Mark Rothko. Sorry I didn’t include the finished painting, hope you enjoy!
