  1. So different for Male examinations the patients are most likely to have a female doing the examination on you tube and the almost always show the face and all the genitals

  2. @MrAlexberon – thanks for stopping by. We're sorry you were disappointed, however we made sure to describe this YouTube clip as an "excerpt" covering "part of" the procedure. We are a small company that earns its revenue by selling subscriptions to our e-learning content, so sadly we cannot give the entire content away for free. Please email us at support@simtics.com and we'll be happy to give you a free trial of this e-learning module, which includes an interactive simulation, not just video.

  3. Ultrasound imaging (sonography) uses high-frequency sound waves to view soft tissues such as muscles and internal organs. It has an excellent safety record. It is non-ionizing radiation, so it does not have the same risks as x-rays or other types of ionizing radiation.

  4. Thanks for your feedback. While this is only a 3-minute intro video clip for this type of exam, you make an excellent point that it is very important that appropriate certification is obtained before a person uses ultrasound in any clinical discipline. (Many countries require this.) We designed our product to be a study aid for people undertaking formal clinical education, and our goal was to allow learners to familiarise themselves with the procedure, step-by-step, through an online simulation.
