Watch Elon Musk’s Neuralink presentation

CNET

Electric vehicles, rockets… and now brain-computer interfaces. Elon Musk’s newest venture, Neuralink, aims to bridge the gap between humans and artificial intelligence by implanting tiny chips that can link up to the brain. At a press conference on July 16, Neuralink’s ambitious plans were detailed for the first time, showcasing a future (a very distant future!) technology that could help people deal with brain or spinal cord injuries or controlling 3D digital avatars.

  1. Missing a very large piece of the puzzle… Humans are idiots and can't control their thoughts… most are gross primal beings.

  2. The one problem with this is that if you need an MRI it will be ripped out of your brain an if you get a ct scan there will be a massive starburst the picture

  3. What did the LORD say about the last days? Not saying HE said this, we should do our on research, but is there a reason for the english alphabet, each letter given a 6 denomination; a=6; b=12; c=18; etc…. the word computer added up = ??? Probably more words might have the same result, and don't know any other languages, but both points are worth some serious thought. Another search of the center book of the King James Bible; the center chapter of the Book; the center verse of that chapter; is worth some serious thought as well. Life is all about choices.

  4. Imagine being able to augment reality. It doesn't even have to be a traditional sense, it can be how you perceive colors, see shapes and even peeps. That'd be lit! But I think I'm gonna sit on this one for a little while and see where it goes before I make the call to get it or not

  5. Old people lose balance and stop exercising. My telephone knows which way is up. . My drone knows which ways id up. I do not. Seems like a cheap tilt meter and accelerator could be built for a hundred dollars. Question is, "How do we transmit this data to Cranial nerve 8". Or do we have to bypass that nerve and go to the cerebellum and/or cerebral cortex. Sound is to slow as are flashing lights. I can't believe Musk is not going to address this problem. Would somebody have a word with Elon, please. Any bored neurologists out there? This is an Arduino and 2 sensors. I don't need to surf the web. I need to stand.

  6. I’m all for this… but there is no ignoring and of course there was zero mention of one simple fact… our thoughts are action potentials as well… which means this same process can be applied to decoding our thoughts… aka Mind Reading.

  7. Scary… I believed in technology, but meddling in the occult is a venture that is too risky. I would rather like to see AI- developed to cure disease, than to create a machine society. I am running from evil as fast as I can. They're gonna freeze-dry your brains and put you in box – Lay it down child and walk with me into this room that's made for you. A little Frankincense to sweeten the air. A little voice that says, this ain't for nothing child….Lay it down child and walk with me into this room that's made for you. Seeing Musk getting jitters is not a nice scene to get over – I suppose his conversion was a very sudden and unexpected. It is amazing how buy-in is done at the end of a video by a tear-dropping word and overwhelming sympathy to justify a cruel deed of epic malignancy.

  8. I’ll just leave this here…

    ◄ Revelation 13:16
It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,

  9. Everybody say's black mirror, black mirror.
But what about Person of Interest and machine?
What about Shaw and her 6700+simulations due to chip in her brain?
