Thanks so much for visiting today and checking out my first rabbit painting-ever. It was good to challenge myself with something new. 🙂 What's the latest subject or technique you've challenged yourself with?
Hi Erika. Thank you for doing a rabbit. With Easter coming, that is something I want to do. I've just pulled out some old small paintings and looked at them to see how I might improve them. I enjoy painting birds but I often don't know how to handle the background, so I tried some negative painting with darker colours to make the bird pop. I think it was semi-successful, but I know I need to be more daring and push my colours further.
