  1. Thanks so much for visiting today and checking out my first rabbit painting-ever. It was good to challenge myself with something new. 🙂 What's the latest subject or technique you've challenged yourself with?

  2. Hi Erika. Thank you for doing a rabbit. With Easter coming, that is something I want to do. I've just pulled out some old small paintings and looked at them to see how I might improve them. I enjoy painting birds but I often don't know how to handle the background, so I tried some negative painting with darker colours to make the bird pop. I think it was semi-successful, but I know I need to be more daring and push my colours further.

  3. Hi Erika!! Happy spring- your wonderful and sweet rabbit reminds me of Easter- one of my favorite holidays. Tax time- yeck! Hehe. I hope your car repair goes well. I am excited to see your acrylic paintings, Erika! Your watercolor rabbit is absolutely beautiful- I love all the colors and variations you used to describe him.

  4. Very nice rabbit Erika. Well done, he's adorable.
This little fella reminds me of the bunny that used to visit back yard from time to time. Hope he comes back soon. My cat goes nuts when bunnies stop by. (indoor cat – don't worry).
Hope you are having a great week.

  5. It is very enjoyable to watch a blank sheet a paper turn into something so beautiful. Thanks for everything you do. I am a beginner whose work is really awful and you have kept me inspired and motivated to try again.

  6. Hi! Erika, great work my friend. I liked it. Thanks for sharing. I was in elementary school really like to paint comics and when I was in my teens I was focused on the field of music.
