10. You should check out SingularityNET. It's a decentralised AI so not centrally owned. IMO it challenges the general trend of dystopian assumptions about AI

12. It will immediately commit suicide. Increased IQ has caused many extremely intelligent people to kill themselves and that is the result of being a few points above average. Being a million above the rest will almost surely lead to it seeing the futility of life and ending itself immediately, not ending us.

23. It seems like you're projecting human traits onto AI. Sure from a human's point of view it seems natural to outsmart, dominate and destroy because that's who we are. There's no reason to assume an AI would ever be like this unless specifically designed.

24. the fact that we extrapolate an AI devised to play a board game to AGI shows how flawed and biased human thinking is
    an AI may start off with our biases but thinking it will stay that way/think like a human is crazy

    We only assume this because we humans have a very strong self-preservation instinct. Evolution has built it into us because if we die, we can't reproduce (the main goal of living things). An AI would not have this instinct.

36. that is what intelligence is ultimately based on, unfortunately evil is intrinsic to the human being even if the devil has been invented as an excuse, and unfortunately evil is directly proportional to intelligence, or forget the English and Spanish who came to murder and subjugate nations to possess a technological advantage as simple as steel or gunpowder, then it is very very worrying and dangerous the issue of artificial intelligence, and the question is not if someday we will be subdued by some entity more intelligent than us, but when and the karma that the human race has is gigantic, and which is mainly the reason by which the human being has destroyed this beautiful planet and the only planet in which it is possible to be in a life span and with much pleasure I dare to declare that it is going to be the only planet that is going to be affected by this pathogenic organism called Homo sapiens sapiens L. because if it is not artificial intelligence that will lapidate us, it will only be climate change that will make this damned species extinct, let's see if anyone here knows about ecology, if we take the planet earth and see it as a single living organism (which it is) and we take the human race as another organism, what is the symbiotic relationship that the human being has with the planet? if you know anything about ecology you will tell me, Parasitism, that is the answer that most resembles reality, and well I tell you that parasitism relationships are short, tortuous and with a fateful end for one or both parties or both, but there is always death in between, the first case is in which the disease or parasite wins and the host dies, which is not going to happen with this beautiful planet because the time humans have is a fraction of a second compared, and the other case is in which the sick organism develops an immune system except when the disease is autoimmune which would not be this case because the human being does not have a necessary function for the existence of this planet and I see it more as an external entity very similar to a small cancer, again, the second case is where the host generates an immune system capable of defeating the condition and said pathogen is eliminated which case I dare say has about a 99% chance of being, and said immune system is called climate change in addition to the autoimmune disease that this wretched organism called humanity has which is wars and some intelligence whether artificial or natural that may be inspired by this notion and do the math, let's see how many humans are left over? …. well over 3/4 of the world's population for this beautiful planet to be sustainable (Thanos was too much of a guarantor when he said it was only half) and after doing that calculation he is going to do the funniest and simplest calculation, that it is better that hundreds of thousands of species that have positive symbiotic relationships with other species and/or with the planet itself go extinct, or only 1 extinct species and this beautiful planet becomes healthy again most probably until 3000 million years which is if I don't remember how long it takes for this very basic star to become a red giant and engulf the planet, well mathematics is hilarious for children, it is insultingly correct to say that it is much better to extinguish 1 single species, well I hope all the testament I wrote reaches in one comment which I doubt, but there is always the old copy paste…
