   DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT QUOTE MEANS? It literally means, "Empty your mind" and you're doing the literal opposite of that. The writing in this game is Chris Chan level I swear.

Does every character apologizing to Alex for "overreacting" and being wrong after he CLEARLY did something awful (and seemingly never regretted it) seem creepy and weird to anyone else especially with the Elisa Lam character? It feels so self-inserty. Like an onision book where the MC can never REAALLLYY be in the wrong. Rory's ghost even comes back to tell him how it wasn't his fault and he's a great guy for christ's sake -_- God forbid Alex not get a pat on the back from EVERYONE he could have ever wronged.

It boggles the mind that the creator is getting angry and calling video games not "art" due to people calling out his shitty mystic quest knockoff and his overly pretentious self insert artpiece with inflated dialogue and cookie cutter characters. YIIK is not smart enough to be actually post-modern like Mother or Lisa the Painful, it is just an offensely bad game.

23. I think, they knew not of "show, don't tell". That they forgot that they had visuals or maybe they wrote all of this up thinking it would be a Textquest and then kept it once they decided on the 3D RPG thing.

24. I'll be honest, I really believe postmodern art in general not to be on any level higher than YIIK. Not out of some snobby adherence to old art traditions or anything, but out of a sense of tedium at the inherent pretentiousness. The idea that postmodern presentations are even more subject to "you just don't geeeeet iiiiiit" predisposes me to distate.
