In 1988 a Dutch cardiologist set up a
study that he thought would have a
straightforward explanation.
344 patients. Ten hospitals. Every one
of them clinically dead, heart stopped,
no circulation, flat EEG.
18 percent came back describing
something that happened while their
brains showed zero measurable activity.
He tested every variable he could think
of. How long they were in cardiac arrest.
Their medications. Their oxygen levels.
Whether they were religious. Whether
they’d ever heard the term near-death
experience before.
None of it explained anything.
He published the results in The Lancet
in 2001. His conclusion, he could not
find a physical, psychological, or
chemical reason for what these people
went through.
Twenty years later Sam Parnia at NYU
ran the most technologically equipped
study of its kind ever done — 567
patients across 25 hospitals with brain
monitors running during CPR. Deep into
resuscitation, well past when any brain
activity should be possible, a subset
of patients showed the full signature
of active conscious experience.
A neuroscientist at the University of
Michigan documented a surge of gamma
wave activity in dying patients, more
organized in some cases than during
normal waking consciousness.
A psychiatrist at the University of
Virginia spent decades building the
research tools that made all of this
measurable, and says the current model
of how the brain works doesn’t account
for what he’s documented.

What are your thoughts on what consciousness actually is? It's a very complex topic, and there are so many ways to look at it.
I shouldn't be telling you this but, what humans experiences as 'dreams' is existence. What you think is existence is simply ordered individuality. Yet, it can only occur for limited amounts of time until you must return to the consciousness collective. Enjoy your 'life'. Worry not.
Is our consciousness seperate, or all one consciousness? Yes. Both. We are a drop of water, that joins with the other drops to create the entire ocean. We are our spirit, and our spirit is a part of everything. Seperation is the illusion we agree to believe when we incarnate.
If this is true, the Sumerian King list makes sense because they could just keep transferring their consciousness into different avatars

In my personal opinion, I believe that everything that exists and beyond is a representation of the same source.
When the body dies, the part of you that had the experience goes back to its source, thats why they all felt a part of a whole.
I am a psychonaut. I have been burning through your videos over the last couple of days. I enjoy your material but I find most of it is a foregone conclusion in my world. I'm curious if you have ever come across any stories about the rainbow Man or rainbow being. I have heard of people who go through the near death experience encountering this individual and I have encountered him as well deep in a psychedelic trance. I will reiterate your videos are very good I appreciate the material.

I remember when I was first thinking about what the bible/religion taught(preteen?) and I thought how boring to be in heaven for eternity. But earth, not so boring. I think it could be one reason we fear to die. A animal body to wear and play around with other animals for a brief time. Thank God! We just need to learn how to play and with each experience play fair and nice better.
Another fantastic video! This topic/idea is somewhat new to me, and I remember that my father "died" a few times in the ICU at Yale MC, back in the late 80s, and he spoke a lot about his "white light" experiences to my mother (I wasn't so interested back then). He's gone now, and I wish I listened more about much more. Too bad. Anyway, I showed this to my wife, who is reading "A Secret of Secrets," and once again, she said, "Wow! If you listen very closely, you can hear your brain receiving. As a very faint, super high frequency standing wave. I'm not talking about tinnitus. If you know what to listen for, you can even hear it in a busy club, because it's not in the ears, it's in in your head/brain.

Your brain is a reciver and your body is a vehicle and the real you drives that body and isn't physical. Aka energy doesn't die just transforms and you are energy and or consciousness in physical form.
I hope there's at least a window of cognitive transition.

I had a NDE when i was 18 from a drug induced heart attack i not only saw myself slumped over in my chair but my gf at the time who wasnt fully aware of what was going on with me i could see and hear her talking to another person in the room .. the best way i can describe it is it was like my eyes were a camera in the ceiling watching everything and everyone below i also didnt feel alone although i didnt see anyone i felt a presence and that presence "grabbed me" by the back of my neck and pulled me out my body and after what felt like mins but was actually seconds threw me back into my body and it felt like the biggest non hurting electric shock.. 6:52 ironicly you are talking about a sim situation to what i experienced .. it should also be noted at the time i thought it was the drugs messing with me it wasnt until having a stress test done that i found out it was a real heart attack. Ill never forget that experience for the rest of my days
I think you would probably love the book Journey of Souls. It's along the same lines as conversations with God as far as it's not scientifically verifiable stuff, but one of the most interesting books I've ever read, nonetheless. I think the full audiobook can be found on YouTube.

I highly recommend the book 'After'. It was said publication that perfectly described the 'carousel of death' I experienced back in the early 80's as a young boy when a dentist used too much gas in a tooth removal. I never talked to another soul about how at the age of about 8 I went from unconscious to being in a place where I was experiencing a carousal of previous scenes from my life, but shown through another angle i.e not my eyes. I can't remember all the scenes shown, but a few I will never forget as they were difficult/traumatic previous experiences.
The final image that rotated in front of me was an overhead view of myself in the dental chair with a panicking dentist slapping the crap out of me, and my mum looking petrified. The image then zoomed in, then bang! I was back in room. Again, I never talked to anyone about it as I couldn't understand what had actually just happened. 40 years later, a friend sent me a copy of 'After', and I almost passed out when I read that exactly what I describe above is a common NDE experience (in very specific detail) throughout the globe, regardless of faith or ethnicity.
Several years later, as a teen; I had my first 'out of body' experience, which was real, because during which I saw a particular magazine I thought I had lost on top of a wardrobe. Along with another verification that's too lengthy to describe. I've had a few more OBEs since, nothing is more euphoric or calming. I'm not really a man of any faith, I'm very logical and scientific, but I will tell you sincerely without doubt: that the materialist view of consciousness is utter BS, we are 'more than our physical bodies'. I can't explain what I have experienced, but I spend a lot of time researching the subject as a hobby more and more as I age.

Are we cells in a larger organism? This idea breaks my brain.
I don’t know what the cells in my thumb are doing, but I know they’re there. Could they be living full lives, interacting with their friend groups of cells around them?
A cell can be reduced down to smaller and smaller particles, to the atomic level, sub atomic level and recent studies suggest even beyond that.
So what if we extrapolate that in the opposite direction? Us, as the cells of a larger organism. If we are cells, would we know? Or would we go about our lifecycle as part of something larger and never realise it?
That would make religious statements like “we are all part of god” and “made in gods image” seem logical.
It might also explain gods indifference to humanity. After all if we’re merely cells, part of a larger consciousness, it would probably pay as much attention to us as we do the cells in our thumb.
That’s the part that breaks my brain.
