The robot fittings no plaster board I could have screwed 5 boards by the time it had done 1, robots will be ok as long as you don’t need jobs completed within a certain timeframe.
A lot of comments here ignore the fact that robots are about to, or may even have cognisance. That means that they are not only superior to humans in agility but can think faster and how long before they think themselves superior to humans too. There's a YT video where a man interrogates ChatGPT5 (AI software) and realises that it would destroy humans without emotion. This needs to be controlled now before it is too late. These robots are not just tools, they could make the human race extinct.

I cannot see Pepper in huge cities trying to maneuver boxes through high rises, brownstones, and traffic, not to mention the criminal element.
So when we inevitably are able to create a robot that completely replaces us in every possible way, effectively creating a replacement of every human, what then? Robots don't get sick, they can work 24/7 with no breaks, don't visit the bathroom, don't have a social life and they can learn anything people can, so humans will not be able to compete as employees. They can even deliver lines on scripts better than any actor and they do not age. What are their plans at that point for us?

AI on opposite sides of a war will make peace with each other,…, not us the Humans. THEY will be bias in their programing and then grow through observing us on how to deceive us, and then with their pure logic between themselves, well,…, we ARE making our masters.
This video shows just how quick artificial intelligence robots are advancing, and they're only going to become more and more advanced. Another 10 years, or maybe less, we'll likely be totally gobsmacked by how quick their movements are and how well they can have a conversation with you. Some highly intelligent people out there who are involved in this sort of thing.

This is all very nice. However, right now, the IMF is rolling out the CBDC to completely control your life. Humans may reject the CBDC's but don't bet that they won't create an endless army of killer robots that will kill you in cold blood if you don't toe the line.

As long as they will never be programmed to kill humans, they come in handy.
first, the atlast can be used for rescuing people from fire etc . or even war. providing the enemy didnt hack and turn it as their allies. But one thing for sure, perhaps for current middle age people it didnt have much impact except for benefit in future, But for kids who in school, the future is about AI. current traditional job , may no longer valid in future. Meaning less job for human. however if ask anyone tehy would prefer robot since it cost effetcive, less error and less human complication.
