101 Facts is the cure.
I'm 35yrs old and I'd bet my left nut that true AI is not seen in my lifetime. Every time someone predicts these things the response is always 'in the next decade' or similar but that has been the response for most things for the past 30 – 40yrs. When will humans walk on Mars? In the next few decades. When will we find extraterrestrial life? In the next decade. When will we have self driving cars (not that I won't them)? In the next ten yrs. It's been the same for 30yrs and likely for much longer.
Bloody optimists! Always getting everyone's hopes up and delivering nothing! Bastards!
