  1. Mr. Mabo you are amazing. I love your art and your sense of humor. Your latest paintings I like even more. Please more videos ❤

  2. Very well done MaBo, and please do not care the thumbs down because it is from folks who have a lack in art education or they're jelouse of successful people

  3. Just a small comment on what my perception is about art in general. I have watch Jackson Pollack in several videos and what he did was chose the colors he would use and the size of the canvas. Then for the entire gestural process he relayed on intuition and chance.
I am glad for you that you sold the painting so quickly unlike Van Gogh, who first had to die ,before people realized how incredibly creative he had been.

  4. I do not understand the attraction to this style of abstract. It seems to me that just about anybody could make such a piece. The palette seems random. Some colors he could not get out of their containers and so he threw them aside. So, it seemed to matter very little whether a color would be used or not. There is not much depth. Not much composition. The techniques are basic (swipe left and swipe right, semi-random splatter, scribble, etc). It just seems that you just keep doing anything on the canvas until you are out of paint or out of patience. I'm not trying to be disrespectful. I just feel that the displaying of such a piece would be highly reliant on lighting, matting and framing to make it attractive. It just looks like a mess. It looks like my painting table, which is truly a random mess. MABO's is slightly controlled, I'd admit, but still a mess. Please explain what makes a mess like this a result of talent or skill, instead of just a mess that anyone could accomplish. I could make these all day (not that I'd consider mine good), but I could make them all day. Why would mine be less "artistic" than MABO's. It looks like semi-random, visual noise. I am merely a hobby artist, so please, somebody, educate me on this. >:D

  5. Contrary to the title of this video, it’s not abstract expressionism. It’s someone who has no talent creating a painting that has no merit. The only positive is that at least he is doing something creative, but perhaps his talents lie elsewhere.

  6. Never watched this multitude of techniques. Very interesting. Love your sense of humor too?
Merry Christmas and thank you for sharing your gifts. Jeanne Louise
