The Meaning of Kemet, Punt, and the Ankh: The Vitality of Bantu Languages

Asar Imhotep

We will answer once and for all the real meaning behind the name Km.t (Kemet, Egypt) and the Ankh symbol. Many theories have been proposed, but very few actually engage the primary texts and/or African languages. We aim to settle the debates surrounding this issue by looking into the primary script known as sS-md.w-nTr (hieroglyphs) and utilizing the Bantu languages to confirm what we see in the texts. .

  7. When the first Europeans came to colonize South Africa they asked the people who are they and the people said: "We are Aba-Ntu." This means in my Xhosa language: "We are people." One person is: "M-ntu" and many are: "Aba-ntu." This word NTU also means: "A place of origin." or "offsprings of an ancestor called: "NTU." If we read this word – QMT, we read as: "QAMATA" meaning: "God(s) and Goddess(es)" who are the creators of the universe. We pronounce the word Q with the tip of the tongue making an explosive sound on the upper front roof of the palate. This is a so-called "click sound" which is the main characteristic of the "Twa" or "Bushmen" language. One would wonder how the ancient Kemet people communicated with the TWA people who used this "click" language. The Xhosa (Mandela people's language) is the most similar language to that of the TWA or Bushmen people but we cannot really understand what they are saying. We are told the TWA played a big role in ancient Kemet as evidenced by their depicted statues. The letters: C, Q, Ch, X are all pronounced as a "click" sound or palatalised as fore-mentioned, and these sounds are very difficult to pronounce even by other Africans let alone the Europeans who decided to change or corrupt them all together. Credo Mutwa, a Sanusi or Sangoma (Diviner) is wearing the secret ancient necklace of the so-called Pharaohs of Kemet and his language is Zulu which is also similar to the Xhosa and Twa languages. He holds many secrets about ancient Kemet. Another issue of concern is the word BANTU which means "People" or "Human beings" which other people interpreted wrongly as meaning: "motion" or "life" Look: "Um-ntu ngu-mtu ngaba-ntu" means: "A person is a person because of other people." Or: "A living being is a being because of other living beings." "Ubu-ntu" means "humanness" The other question that arises is if Kemet had 42 different African tribes, how did they all communicate and understand one another if all their dialects were different? My conclusion would be that Mdr Ntr was a secret lingua Franca of the chief Priests and their initiates. I don't think that all people communicated in Mdr Ntr. In order for one to understand that language one had to be a Priest or an Initiate of the sacred language of the Gods and Ancestors. Thanks.

  8. 1. "Negro/Black/African" are Psuedo political terms.
    2. "Race" etymologically means course, lineage, line of descent, order. Cognate with "regency" (kingdom), rex (king), arusi (image, idol, a thing built and finished), orisha (ancestors, kings, heads). Etymology of race should have its own presentation.
    3. That's why the "race" has no political unity. Unity in name does not guarantee political unity. Political unity of a "race" would look like a "confederation of confederations", a mega-confederation of chieftaincies and fraternities.
