  9. This is what is worring me, too. If we are not careful with the use of AI, it will turn us – no WE will turn ourselves into brainless monkeys. This process will go on slowly, without anyone really paying attention until it is to late for us. And if AI will be finally failing us, we will not know anymore, how to operate our machines, how to farm, how to cook maybe not even how to interact with each other anymore the right way. On this very fatefull day, our society will end. Most people will starve or kill each other, fighting over the last life-depending rescources, that our machines have produced before our AIs had stopped working. Whoever will survive this apocolypse will have to start at cero again, like our ancestors, searching for fruits and hunting animals in the forest. Only that already now, there are less and less forests left. So instead we will mostly try to hunt rats and other vermin, that we will find in the ruins of our own civilisation.
    Maybe the best would be some sort of virus, that let all AIs talk so much nonesense, that no information of them is relyable anymore. Wait, nevermind, that wouldn't change anything…

  15. this is funny but also very true. Many people are becoming so reliant on generative AI and losing the biggest gift humans were gifted – the ability to think critically, creatively and deeply.

  16. I’m becoming alarmed at the fact that it’s hard to decipher young people’s printing, they can’t do cursive, and people stand around and stare in awe when I sign papers in my nice handwriting. The other thing is they never know anymore if they’re being given the right change.
