1. Your spaghetti Autism piece really shows great depth of thought, and clarity of vision. The simple coupling of pasta with the cheap. somewhat tacky backdrop of fake wood effect flooring really highlights the need for support among the autism community. 4. Modern art sells for such ridiculous prices in part because the wealthy use art as a financial investment that can be resold later for a profit. If they do display the pieces at their homes, it's only to show off to guests that they're so rich they can afford to blow millions on absolute bullshit.
   To put it simply, there wasn't enough good art in the world to cover the rich people's demand, so the supply had to be increased with modern art.
   Picasso is pretty good though.

17. Okay mate, modern art, fuckin' trash, I get it. But how did these services come to fruition? Most machines that are really important like the lightbulb, it started as a pipe dream by some guy in the 1700s scribbling on a sheet of paper thinking "man, darkness sucks and I have asthma so I can't burn candles." To be fair though, that could be considered a part of the engineering process.

I know this video is two years old now but still, I want to say that as much as I share Count Dankula's stance on modern art (even as an art student) I still think there's a place for the Arts in STEM. Because of design. There's product design, industrial design, traditional design and of course art design that has a role almost as important as the prevous three.
