  1. Thank you so much for this tutorial! I'm getting back to speed on painting after a long (long LONG) hiatus, and walking through this with your direction has been a big boost to my confidence!

  2. Thank you so much for your videos! You are a fantastic teacher. I look forward to seeing your other videos and painting with you. Have a good one, Mr.Kem.

  3. Very good tutorial Will. I find red a very difficult color but your tutorials are so helpful. Thanks so much. I would like to do also the other tutorials you have like Venice  and acrylic portraits when I will be able

  4. I am having difficulty applying a layer of yellow paint on the stem. The paint is too thick or too watery. The brand I am using for yellow is Liquitex. For the green gold, I am using Dick Blick, but the consistency for the green gold is thick and "clumpy."

  5. This is my first time I try this type of painting and I messed it all up. Thank you for the lesson I did learn things about the pigments. Your video was very educating. Thank you so much….c.g.

  6. Hello Will, I have a question for you, I did this painting on special acrylic paper and used some medium with paint, although I am wondering if I still have to put a layer of varnish on top or that is only for canvases?

  7. Will, Are you working wet on wet or are you letting the paint dry between the different videos? I ask because my paint is drying really quickly and become hard to work with (blend)… Thanks for the awesome instruction by the way, cheers!

  8. Thanks Will – great class, very helpful presentation, beautiful outcome. I like your detailed explanations about why and how you mix the colors!

  9. I have never had any art classes but have tried my hand at painting before but couldn't really get a look I wanted so gave up. I just finished this painting. This video was amazingly easy to follow and you explain things so perfectly. I love how it turned out!!
