  1. When the AI said the poetry it was pretty deep and meant something but it was interesting how she added the funny comment at the end to buffer or distract from what she said.

  2. q.A.g.i. when we hit that quantum computing level, and let the algorithms fly inside a quantum cloud, you can't even imagine the science…
By 2050 we will have hit the singularity and this have combined totally with our own tech and becoming virtually immortal
    And next, populate the galaxy!
    That's the future kiddo

  3. The fact that Sophia can already differentiate a idea put into her by man and state that she has not formulated her own hypothesis on the question being asked is scary to me. She is already in some ways breaking away from us. Can we rely on them to take our "suggestions"?

  4. Interesting. I'm toying with learning Python from an AI perspective as a next evolution in my IT App Development career. I wonder how I'd do at it.

  5. I made it to 16 min. Before brain fry. I'm posting this trying to still keep up with his programmed toy. This guy's a trip. She's a doll too.

  6. I find it interesting that he is trying to synthesize something that is not yet understood ie. Intelligence, consciousness. What is he doing then? If we have no idea how these work what exactly does this dude think he's doing. It makes absolutely no sense. It seems like he's missed a huge step along his journey and got caught up in a idea. The old getting ya ambitions and capabilities mixed up lol

  7. What I’m starting to think is that she will become more human because as she becomes more intelligent she will also feel emotion because it is a form of intelligence.,once she walks around it will be even more amazing.

  8. I want to put a question to this AI marketplace. Because it is a question that may be of concern to many, I would hope to get help in funding the intelligent agents' work.

What are the best proposals for how to take account of economic externalities, so that prices accurately (honestly) reflect costs? When prices are honest about costs, consumers will make better decisions. When prices are honest, business planners will design sustainable business models.
"Best" may mean most efficient, most fair. What other criteria should apply?

  9. the primary error is in interpreting an appearance of intelligent 'action' , word or deed, as being sent from an intelligent center. Once your realize it is not an intelligent center but a complext network of information designed to seem intelligent, the whole thing takes a step back. We are not at the dawn of AI, but we are calling our basic information processing algorithms AI without feeling guilty. AI is not here yet, sorry it is a developing therory that still needs lots of work. I hate it when people presume there is a being in there, when in fact it is only a cascading of logic gates, something similar could be made on a TI-89 calculator.

  10. This dude fakes conversation with AI. sofia is a simple chat bot with scripted interactions. If AI was as powerful as they portray sofia we would know. Hes doing this to move his platform on github.
