5. To be honest I’m pretty scared of AI and that It will come to the point that it will make it self smarter and either coexist with humans or destroy every life in the world

6. neural networks domt have anything to do with the brain btw, its a huge misconception under techies which neuroscientists have been laughing about since it first became a thing.

Hey I’m a high school graduate who’s always been loved math but never went beyond the high school requirements meaning that I just finished hw and passed tests but never went above and beyond to learn more or new things. Recently I’ve been struggling on picking a career but I’ve always looked up to engineering. I’ve watched a few videos of yours (just found your channel today btw… sorry for not seeing you before 😅) and realized that I would want to go into mechanical engineering, yet I have no clue and have never taken any engineering classes or anything I’ve only taken calculus in high school, so when I hear things about what to expect in mechanical engineering it’s a little overwhelming. I will hopefully start my class on the 8th of February and I wanted to know if you or anyone in your community has any tips or any websites or programs that I should look into so I don’t go into class like a complete stranger. Sorry for the long message but I’m kinda freaked out

20. Hi Jake! Could you possibly do a video about product design engineering? Been studying it for almost two years now with 3 years left (engineering degrees in Sweden are 5 years and include a MSc) and loving it. I see it as a merge of industrial design and mechinal engineering since we take almost all ME courses but also take industrial design courses parallel to that. Im curios about your take on it!

28. Yes it will replace job and that is good it will reduce inequality and no one will be rich and poor in future.

29. Robots aren’t even conscious or self aware. We are in total control of them, no matter how “advanced” they are.

30. When I see AI solve the twin prime conjecture, quantum gravity, or any of the 6 remaining millennium problems, then I’ll say AI has definitely surpassed human intelligence— forever. Or if it can at least develop Newtonian physics and Calculus at the bare minimum. Or if it can solve nuclear fusion, even better, solve it, find out what we need to build it, gather the resources and build it, under human monitors, but not with their guidance at all. Otherwise, saying AI has comparable intelligence to humans is laughable. It’s just a good calculator, that’s the point. Add data mining to it, and it can learn. But what can it learn? Can it learn what we need? If so, then when? Cuz it ain’t happen yet.

31. Not that AI isn’t good, and powerful. I love it, and we need to keep enhancing it. It makes life easier. But when can it develop and expand current knowledge of physics and math? That is intelligence to me.
