  1. I literally just retired TODAY and got so tired of people asking me what i am going TO DO now….when truthfully i look forward to just staying home. People just dont understand that. But i have so many things to do right here at home!…or do nothing right here at home! Im an introvert too so all this sounds so exciting to me! Hope you enjoyed your massage! I love watching you and your son on video.

  2. I only do 2 loads of laundry a week but I will throw a load in at night and first thing in the morning I put it right in the dryer and BAM it's all done. I think it's cheaper to run it at night too.

  3. Since you re-energize when alone with Buns And Mr Human and Kaden, How does all the youtube comments affect you? I do lanundry at midnight one load a night. I love folding towels after Laundry. I fold them the way my Gym teacher folds them. I love the feeling of clean towels, second to petting Jerky the cat.

  4. I am an introvert. Hard core. I used to be wild and had fun going out…and then I got pregnant. Hmm, I wonder if that went hand in hand. Haha! Now I prefer to stay home. It's my happy place. I'm moving on Thursday and so I'm watching all the old videos of yours I missed while I pack. Then I can be a super fan! Woot woot!

  5. Oh girl! I’m the same as you about staying home on the weekends. Too many people out there rushing around 😝 Love seeing my calendar and there’s nothing planned! Enjoy being home with your sweet son 💜

  6. The library has a few services you can use once you get your card. you can download ebooks and audiobooks from their website as well as streaming movies and documentaries. And, when the item is due, it just disappears from the app, so no late fees. The children’s page of your library could have an interactive book service as well that adds so much extra fun to the stories!

  7. Hey Kate! Speaking of Netflix, Amazon, etc… what are your suggestions on internet and entertainment? I have Dish with their Internet service and I’ve got it down to one of the least expensive packages but it’s still fairly high for both tv and Internet. What do you use as your internet provider? Do you have any suggestions to be more frugal about this? Maybe you could make a video on this topic. Thanks!

  8. Laundry: i do a whites load on a Sunday, and coloureds and woollens whenever I have enough for a full load, apart from when it is exceptionally hot, in which case I hand wash them as soon as they are dirty enough to warrant washing, and then I hang dry them. I often hang dry laundry anyway, but when it's exceptionally hot, obviously hung laundry dries faster than when it isn't. There's just one of me. At my library they rent out music CDs and board games too.

  9. I wash two to three loads of laundry a week. Us Spaniards air dry our clothes so it is usually a load on Friday afternoon, one on Sunday and one on Wednesday or so. Tip: a Customers Organization advises to try and use half of the soap we use in our laundry because we tend to use too much. I tried and now I use A THIRD of the amount of soap I used, and my clothes are just as clean as they used to be! Good for the planet and good for my pocket!

  10. Being retired I donn't want to stay home. I do go to library alot, or go to a Thrift store and save money. The house chores can wait for a bit. I do laundry when I feel like it, heee heee. But when I did work, yes I did all the things you spoke of. Anyway have a great week ahead,

  11. I can relate so much to everything you've said in this video. I love my weekends to recuperate after a busy week. I always have the fridge stocked up so no need to go out shopping on a weekend. I'm very much a homebody, saves me a lot. Your living space is lovely, (I watched your toy room tidy up video earlier). Great job! I'm inspired. Thanks for all your efforts. 😀

  12. First of all your hair always looks perfect you are so beautiful second of all I 100% love this video and I love your attitude I love to stay home I like a day where I can 100% stay home and just get things done that I need to do but also spend some time maybe watching a movie or reading a book taking a walk Etc when I have those days which are not very often I like to unplug the phone for a while and just rest

  13. It is only my husband and myself now so I do laundry only when I have a full load! I never run my washing machine on a bunch of small loads!

  14. I am a single Mother of 4, It was tough when they were growing up, but I did it.  The library is one of my favorite places.  I visit them when ever I go to a different town.  One thing I did was all the house chores on Thursday night.  Vacuumed, cleaned, laundry, what ever had to get done.  So on the weekends we were free to do what ever we wanted.  It was wonderful!  Some weekends we would stay home and bake batches of cookies, made big batches of soup.  I live in New England were its cold, so warm things inside were wonderful!

  15. Love ur videos Kate! Just started on my debt free journey and your tips are great! Love that u mentioned you’re an introvert, me and my bf just stay at home and watch Westerns on Saturday and it is sooo relaxing! You have a beautiful smile too. Hugs

  16. Very cool video. There truly is no place like home. Adore my stay at home times. Btw its wonderful memories you are building with your adorable son. They grow so fast– I can't believe my daughter turns 40 this coming May. Keep enjoying those moments– you only pass that way once with your kids! All the best Jan!
