  5. Sir my question to the you is….

Q.2)How to be more perfect in applying the statistics concepts and going more deep into stas and trying to apply those concepts as application??

    VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION

Q.3)How to do a group study in Machine Learning and Data science as i feel when different minds counter attack the problem different ways and solutions come out which helps in expanding the thought process.. i hope i am suggesting right when it comes to group study , not for the assignment solving approach at all but for studying and discussing the core concepts and idea and solving different data sets and challenges and doing things in group will help in coordinating with each others thoughts and how to go about which becomes a real life scenario in companies ??PLEASE PLEASE give some ideas about this and thanks a lot for all the continuous help and support that's being provided by YOU and AppliedAi team.

  12. Hi Srikant anna,
1.Would like to know how many coding problems to solve each day to improve problem solving skills and what to do if you are stuck for long in some coding challenge and you still don't get the right output?Should we just skip it for a while and go to other problem and come back with a fresh mind or should we struggle with it using stack overflow and other resources until we get the the right logic?
2.Would like to know the tentative date for your DS and Algo course for interviews.

  13. I am a registered student and I am from a non technical background. Most of the jobs which are open for ML they're for btech and computer science folks.

  20. Hi,
My question very specific to an NLP problem.
    1. I am working on a project to extract entities from pdf file along with their names. For example. On a pdf page, there maybe 2 dates,
    Issue Date : 6/11/2017
    End Date : 6/11/2018
I want to extract both of these dates using NER and keys(Issue Date ,End Date) using regular expression. However I am having a problem of getting text out of PDF. I pdf files have specific structure and when converted/printed to text, The formating changes to something like

    Issue Date :
    End Date :
    6/11/2017
    6/11/2018

The formatting is totally random. Any solution for extracting entities from PDF files along with their keys ?

    Thank you,

    Thank You.

  22. As I am a front end engineer.. I would like to be a full stack engineer with node.js or python framework django. At the same time, I have been following you long time, I have interest in AI, what are the benefits of switching? Does really AI reduce the web developer jobs? How is structure of developer roles in industry? What suggestion do you give based on future view?

  24. How to learn essentials of software engineering for Data Science? How much the quality of code matters when you are working in a team with brilliant software engineers?

  25. This question is regarding Non-negative matrix factorization and matrix completion. In the recommender system, the input matrix (A) we have will be highly sparse as we know. Our job is to factorize the input matrix (A) into Two non-negative matrices (B) and (C) such that the difference between (A – B*C) is minimum. My question is Since the input matrix (A) is already sparse, Wouldn't the new matrix (B) and (C) we are factorizing using optimization will also turn out in such a way that the empty cells in matrix (A) is maintained?? How come we will come up with non-zero (Aij)??? In the sense, Our optimization function will model our multiplying (B) and (C) will closely recreate (A).

  26. I am a registered student in AI. Please answer the below query.

  27. Sir, I am already enrolled in your course. And, I must say you people are awesome, in terms of everything from course material to guidance and problem solving. I am just little worried, being a working professional and my background is civil engg, sir, I am quite behind my schedule almost 2 months behind.. I am speculated whether I would be able to complete the whole course in given frame of time or not, and if not what happen since this domain is completely new to me like many others and being working, don't get requisite time sometimes to go through the targeted videos. Sir, my main aim through this course is getting a decent package job in ML field. And, this 2 months behind made me a bit worried. Please help me as how should I go on ahead and give me some motivation that I would be able to finish this in the given time frame. As this idea of yours, coming online and taking somewhat different queries is great idea. Hope, to see my query being addressed on the live session. Thank you AAIC Team in advance, you guys are fabulous.

  28. Hello Sir, thank you for conducting the Q&A session. I have been frequent follower of your sessions and I really like your way of teaching style and applied-ai curriculum.

    Question:
I have around 10 years of experience and completely into finance domain.

Would this course benefit ppl like me who r at mid-level.

And, could you also let me know the prospects of ML for 10+ exp ppl like me. (Like I feel it is too late to join)

Would building a portfolio (like you mentioned in curriculum) and solving kaggle problems help getting a job in this ML field.
