‘For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Matthew 25:35-40
I was clearly guided to watch this. This adds a new and powerful perspective to my mystical pursuits. Just WoW!
Objectice reality God exists. We are not gofs (little g) but we try to be.
Reality doesn't make sense without God. Full stop. The universe exploded from nothing, breaking physics. Constants are fine-tuned to absurd precision (1 in 10^120+ ranges) — change one and no stars, no atoms, no life. Penrose odds dwarf the atoms in the observable universe (~10^80–10^82) and seconds since the Big Bang (~4.35 × 10^17). Life from chemicals? Hoyle put it at 1 in 10^40,000 for basic enzymes — tornado in a junkyard building a 747 is likelier. A functional proto-cell demands hundreds of integrated systems (DNA code, metabolism, homeostasis, protective membrane, division) working instantly or it dies. No gradual buildup. Life locally defies thermodynamics while blind nature produces sludge.Consciousness isn't brain meat. Hydrocephalus patients with minimal brain tissue live normal lives and graduate college. Split-brain patients integrate coherent stories neither hemisphere fully saw (baseball + broken window = "the baseball broke the window"). Penfield's awake brain surgery patients distinguished willed movement from electrical stimulation. NDEs produce veridical perception during clinical death: conversations down the hall, Maria's exact shoe on the hospital ledge (scuffed, lace under heel), dentures in the cart, Pam Reynolds describing surgical tools while blood-drained and brain-flatlined. Prayer studies and documented healings (terminal cancers vanishing, intestine regenerating after near-bisection when doctors swore there wasn't enough left) get dismissed as "spontaneous remission" or goalpost-moving. The data doesn't.Atheism requires way more faith. It demands you ignore the design, swallow cosmic lotteries and chemical miracles against the math, then invent untestable multiverses or simulations to avoid intelligence. That's not following evidence — that's protecting a prior commitment.Stack the major religions on truth claims and history. Most are contradictory myths or untestable private revelations. Christianity stands way above with evidence: Jesus existed, crucified under Pilate (hostile sources confirm), empty tomb, transformed disciples claiming resurrection, Paul and James converted, movement exploding in a hostile world. You can't lab-prove God like an equation, but you know Genghis Khan or Alexander the Great from historical effects and records. Jesus has that trail — plus the resurrection data no other founder matches.A true skeptic asks questions and follows the evidence wherever it leads — not denies it because it can't be explained by materialism. God doesn't hide. He says seek and you will find. So seek. Look up the studies, the NDE cases, the fine-tuning papers, the minimal cell requirements, the historical Jesus sources. Read the Bible. Ask hard questions. God invites scrutiny — He doesn't run from truth. If atheism is so solid, it should survive honest investigation. Most don't even try. What's stopping you?
Good reason to be:
Similar situation prevailed with enquirers of Sanatana Dharma as to which path could lead to Reality, close to pre Samkara days but after Bhagavat Gita. Sage Gaudapada the Paramaguru of Sri Samkara and Guru of Govindapada, had enunciated his Karika which was beyond the ken of even sages of his days. His finding that Advaita only could lead'?' to real moksha with Ajatavada. He left the job of writing a treatise on it to Sri Samkara. This in spite fact that Advaita was known even from the earlier days Ramayana as told to Sri Rama in Yoga Vasishtam. But the ending of Ramayana resembles Samkhya more with Sita returning to the earth element or Prakrithy. This thought sequence continued well after the Ramayana days till Mahabharatha, where Sage Vasishta through the mouth of Lord Krishna gave Bhagavath Gita, which also gave more importance to Samkhya system only. To this day some people hold that Lord Krishna was a Samkhyavadhi only and hence a dvaithist only!
There were debates between the Dvaithins, the Karmavadhins, the nyayavadhis, the Vaiseshikas ( who introduced the atomic and sub atomic arguments matching with modern science – Buddhism is an offshoot here)), The Samkhyas, the Yoga vadhins, the Mimamsakas (Purva and Uttaramimamsaka scholars) – and the sub systems of each, each argument being a minor difference but major enough to prove the opponent wrong. We really see the same thing happening with scientists and mathematicians of today.
Proof of the pudding remained in eating it only. Poor scientists, they do not even have that comfort – as they stand by an external observation for data only and steadfastly refuse to accept anything they consider as metaphysical. Here is to wishing them luck in their depredations.
PR8NCIPLE #1 OF HERMETISM:
EVERYTHING IS MENTAL.
The ancients knew it and they didn't need an LHC.

The look on her face is utter confusion.
I am not trying to be facetious, this is a serious consideration that impacts point of view. I would love to hear the explanation of matter and consciousness in terms of a sink full of dirty dishes.
Why do you have nine holes in your body that operate with your daily routine and one that feeds you when you were inside your Mother body in bring forth nine months of love ❤️ creation starting on to Mother nature earth in the same thing you grew up using her nature supplies in development through working etc:❤

The human brain had to evolve, for billions of years, so during that time all that is inanimate didn't exist? I'm not sure if I understand how physical matter doesn't exist, unless observed.
“Nonsense!” I feel a hopefulness for existence when Bernardo exclaims.
1:15:54 There’s an interesting point here when he says that we should learn. But if every one of our future actions is determined by who we are, then what we end up learning is also determined by who we are at this moment.
That would mean we don’t really have a choice. If we’ve reached the point where we’re going to learn something, then it’s already determined what we’re going to learn. We’re not actually choosing what to learn.
Every choice we make is already predetermined, so whether you study or don’t study doesn’t seem to make any logical difference if you continue following his line of reasoning.
I’m not arguing with him—I’m genuinely trying to understand this, because this point is a slippery one. From one state, you can only learn a certain thing. From the next state, you can only learn something else.
So, no matter what you do, you’ll still end up where you’re supposed to be and learn what you’re supposed to learn. We don’t decide what we’re going to learn. So how could we choose not to learn? That, too, would simply be the only thing we could do.
I’m not saying it would be “right,” just that it would be the only possible outcome. In other words, according to this logic, learning itself doesn’t actually determine anything—that’s the point I’m trying to make
Last month, I was not ready for this. today, it was the first thing I watched outside on the patio 6 something in the morning. This is "only if youre ready" info
Consciousness came before matter
This is simply a complete waste of time, you could discuss anything and never get anywhere with him and this "theory". Just trying to explain Schrödinger’s Cat which is impossible
Thank you for another awe-inspiring episode. The Essentia Foundation and Bernardo Kastrup continuously deliver profound metaphysical and scientifc insights and offer numerous healing opportunities for our planet.
These are all teachings that have been around for thousands of years. I have a problem with people who try to appropriate these teachings for their own benefit without giving credit to the real sources.
Mind's being is the self's being and self's being is the world's being. It's mind as subject and mind as its own objects.
awful sophomoric point of view. I remember tackling this when I was like 12. its like vibrations mannnnn. it is this way because it is the way it is. you can only see what you can see. i am you and you are me and we cheese all together. gah, I guess we hate in others what we hate most about ourselves.
We are all just thoughts in the universal mind.
He’s on track about a lot, except his ideas on everything not having consciousness. It’s not that inanimate objects don’t have consciousness, it’s that they don’t have consciousness that’s perceivable to us. That’s just like saying a dog isn’t conscious, just because we don’t understand how it’s conscious doesn’t mean that it is not. Also he still has a lot to learn about existence especially since he hasn’t experienced its actual extent, but great video. Also there is no god, there are constructs of beings that we’ve created to test out the different possibilities, but we manipulate and have control over all in this universe whether you believe it or not.
