  1. lol..let this be a warning to young people out there..when you do to much masturbating your hand will start a life of its own..it is a simple matter of physics. Seriously though. Logic dictates that you are dealing with everything of which the natural world, the cosmos, is a part. We simply do not know if everything and the natural world is identical..we only pretend that we know.

  2. He's right! Physics is far too isolationist and needs to consider the universe as a whole. Also his point about initial conditions being left unexplained is very effective. Did they change in the past? Are the laws not constant but evolving? Mind-blowing.

  4. Really, because he gives a strong impression that he is unimpressed with experimental evidence – at least any particle physics experimental evidence or any evidence for special relativity – and says that repeatability is a temporary phenomena. He thinks outside the box by constructing a bigger box apparently based on hand waving, then undermines the tools that could challenge it. May be a fascinating philosophy or an attractive religion (not to me) but isn't much to do with science.

  5. why do I feel like I am listening not to a theoretical physicist talking about the future of physics, but to an eccentric with a grab bag of metaphysical philosophies?
