  1. The best thing you could possibly invent right now is a robot that can call 911 and unlock a door via Bluetooth. Yes, I realize there are regulatory issues with this. Also it's got to be able to know when something's on fire, or a home occupant is disabled and non-responsive. I think the technical side of this is either achievable with current tech or very nearly so. Start lobbying or something…

  2. Robot… or "system". Never said it had to be mobile. I have enough cameras in my house that, had they any AI attached to them, could function in this manner. However mobile and personable are kind of bonuses : )
