When I was a kid I used to wonder if I wasn’t in my bedroom for example, and nothing was observing the room, was it still there? I knew it was still there, but something about that thought always stuck with me.

But Prenrose says that it’s not observation that collapses the wave function it’s the curvature of spacetime. Klee Irwin says we can bend space time by creating drag with our thoughts. I think he says that. So we can possibly affect events by reducing or gaining drag.

I replied to someone and I'll explain in a non-scientific, in a simple way to people. People become quite confused about some things.
The error to say that everything doesn't exist(just councousness) is kind of absurd(yeah, you don't interract with it, doens't mean itself doesn't exist separated from your perceptions). If that information that you percieve you wouldn't exist, your coucniousness wouldn't be able to percieve and know soemthing that doesn't exist..
There is no objective truth at itself(knowing) because we are limited in our [knowing]. Rationality, senses, mind are limited to understand deeper and more things.
We cannot be one and multiple things in the same time and aware in other types of forms. The brain(our body) and its capabilities has its limits in [knowing] something and they explain that we experience and interract with things the way we were designed to interract with it through our senses and mind( they are talling about observation).
That's how our mind through senses(eyes by example) "sees" the objects, but that's how we are capable to see it and that object(truly how it is) we will never truly know how is it is. We have limitations with these senses. Things are not how we see and things are not about how we percieve. It's like that just for us(the counciousness), but it's not the ultimate truth of things. Rationality and counciousness no matter how intricately was designed to function, it has its limits in <knowing>.
I didn't explain it more scientifically, but how logically works. We are what we are. Reality is not how we see it.
We need to detach from the perspective of our nature's sensorial and cognitive abilities. Well, how can you know something when rationality, senses, inutition and measurements are required to interract with reality(existence). These limitations are necessary to us to understand the world in <our> own way and of course our own nature cannot be something else because that's how we are. I call it limitations no matter how they fancy our capabilities to rationalise and understand the world trough senses… this type of <knowing> is something useful for understand things because we are capable of logic, but not enough to try know… This is a simplistic generalization about how we are and the confusions about reality and what we percieve and not capable to percieve,
not about the wave function collapse in particular itself talked-about in this video.
