So this is something that I’ve wanted to talk about for a while, there has been ton of speculations about white pearl and pink pearl for the longest, heck even blue and yellow pearl. I don’t think this is anything too crazy but it’s interesting to say the least. What do you think? Enjoy!

Pilot Pearl Concept Art, WHITE DIAMOND Hints?! [Steven Universe Theory / Discussion]
It was stated in an early episode that a gem's light body is how the gem wants it, like how amethyst had short hair, then (assumedly) regenerated with long hair after she saw Greg's. Pearl could have had white hair then regenerated with pink hair (possible symbolism of love/loyalty to rose quartz)

It's more about the off-white skin pigment AND the gem placement. She could be Pink's too. I mean, look at her space form. Hell, imagine if they had trans-diamond pearls. (Also, I'm listening to that music in the background. I assume it's from GarageBand since that's where that leading synth is from. I kinda used it for something more energetic. Great job with the video.)

In the episode where pearl tries to take steven to homeworld, she is wearing a spacesuit with a pink diamond on it.
I think that Pearl served a Moissanite. Moissanites are the Diamonds stunt doubles, and are high-ranking enough to have Pearls, and our Pearl serves the Moissanite for White Diamond
I think that if they made Pearl's hair white, and if she really is White diamond's, it would be obvious that Pearl was hers. So maybe they made her hair peach in intention. 😀
