I don't want to live in this state of consciousness forever, that will essentially be hell for me. I'm clinging to the hope that when our brains die, consciousness dies. The idea that it lives on in it's current state is terrifying. If there is some underlying force within it that goes forth to another life for the chance to "live and learn again" in a new life, I'd be okay with it. But my god, please do not let this one be eternal.
