Quantum Theory without Observers III: Interview with Catalina Curceanu

QTWOIII

During the conference “Quantum Theory without Observers III” (ZiF, Bielefeld, 22.04.-26.04.2013) several interviews with participants were recorded. The following questions were asked:
1. What first stimulated your interest in the foundations of quantum mechanics?
2. Which theory comes closest to your idea of a quantum theory?
3. Is the role of randomness special in quantum physics?
4. What are the implications of Bell’s inequalities for our view of the world?
5. What are the most pressing problems in the foundations of quantum mechanics today?

  1. Excellent video!
This is an invitation to see an artist theory on the physics of time as a physical process! In this theory time is an emergent property formed by the spontaneous absorption and emission of light with the future continuously coming into existence photon by photon! The uncertainty of quantum mechanics is the same uncertainty we have with any future event that we can interact with turning the possible into the actual!
